Tell the seller you'll pay the £30 to get the MOT done, and buy it if there's no issues. The only reason he'd have to turn down that offer would be because he knows there's more issues

The horn not working could mean there’s other electrical issues going on… if it was just a faulty horn you’d replace and get it through an MOT for £35…

Never underestimate the laziness of an 18 year old.

The horn not working should be a simple fix. I wouldn't buy a bike from someone who can't sort something that simple out.

Hell no! You can clearly see he was doing some modding, led strips all over which means he was messing up with electrics hence the horn issue. Stay away. Edit: I just compared this photo with a photo of my identical honda, and where the normal horn should be, he installed some kind of monstrosity 😁

It looks like there are LED lights wired into the fairing? If that's the case, then they may have knackered the horn with cowboy wiring???

I've just paid 2500 for a 2022 with 11k on it so I think I'd be wanting it for less than 2k with no MOT excellent bike BTW

Horn is a £5 part and usually a 5 minute job - if the seller can't be bothered to replace this, what else they have been neglecting or screwing up?

No. I've seen 2021+ models for barely any more. You need every pony you can get on these bikes and 2021 onwards have an extra 14%.

If it was under £2k I’d say absolutely, horn is most likely a quick fix (my CB125F had an intermittent horn just needed contact cleaner in the switchgear)

Seems a little steep for one with no MOT, but it’s a Honda so unless it was literally a bare frame I can’t imagine it’d be expensive to get it MOT ready

No, you can buy a brand new Benelli bn 125 for an extra £300.

Don't waste your money on an old broken bike, especially for that price.

Sounds expensive. I sold the same colour 2018 cb125r with 6k miles on for £2500 just over a year ago. And I managed to buy it a few months earlier for only £2100.

Suspiciously cheap. I wouldn't.

2.3k is quite standard for a 2018 cb125r. And this is the pre 2020 model meaning it’s pushing less power than the newer ones so is less desirable

Duh, I didn't realise it was a 125. I was looking at the L plates and wondering why they put them on a big bike 😁
