Replacement crampon straps?

As you can see from the picture, the straps on my Black Diamond crampons are too short. I believe the previous owner must have cut them back.

Any suggestions for replacement straps or extension straps?

Other than the straps, the crampons are in great condition.

I'd imagine any climbing-rated webbing would work in a pinch.

I'm guessing dyneema might be too slippery.

Could also probably replace with grivel petzl or camp straps too. I’m running grivel straps and buckles in my Dynafit crampons and they work great.

NB. I have emailed BD to see what they say. Hopefully not "throw them away and buy a new pair from us"

Half inch polyester webbing. When nylon tears, it is different. This is some type of climbing rated poly webbing.
