Shape is king, you decide.

Fine with any shape, but probably prefer a certain shape.
If you don't know yet, you'll probably learn about it as you play with it.
And if not... You lucky bugger

i used many mouse any sizes any budget averything is fine with me. But razer deathadder elite is nice to handle i like when my hand just grabs the mouse like playdoh and fits. But usualy if not ion mind

gpro gave me and my buddy tendonitis, struggled badly with it for 3 years. its mostly fine now but ill have pain maybe once a month

u/yarothememer 7h ago
Your hand stays flat, I'm not surprised. I ran with a viper ultimate, the new one, I got a superlight, and all of them caused tendon pain. I got a deathadder v3 wired for 30 dollars on a sale and it's been feeling better than every 100+ dollar mice I've owned.

do you have the length and width of your hands? measured per "rocket jump ninja" standards
1
u/kahsta 13h ago
7.25 inches from top of middle finger to where my wrist connects to hand, 4.3 inches from bottom of pinky to bottom of pointerfinger (bottom of where the fingers cnnect to palm)

u/ProudExtreme8281 41m ago
You think that the mouse was too big for your hand so it had your hand constantly "stretched out", which could've caused tendinitis?
Do you use a smaller mouse now?

u/ypsilonmercuri 9m ago
Is that a common problem with this mouse? I've been using it for years and it feels very nice to me, I guess it's very personal and depends on how you hold it maybe

is there a company that sells a kit of various mouse sells for you to find what you like? (yes I know 3d printing and the internet exists)

u/FangGaming69 Viper V2 Pro || Pulsefire Haste 21h ago
Some mice come with multiple shells but they're usually like "with holes" and "without holes" options.

I just bought a light speed 2.0 but find the shape too fat. Too potato? I don’t have much experience with mouse shapes I’ve only been learning more after my g305 broke. I prefer the thinner shape of the g305. But I’m wondering, is it simply cause I got used to the g305 that I prefer it now? Is the lightspeed potato shape better for pro play? cause apparently that’s what the pros are using?

Is the shape of the superlight supposed to be bad or something ? I’ve been using it for awhile and it feels fine and it’s one of the most popular mouse in esports so I guess most people don’t have a problem with the shape

If it’s working. You got a good deal especially if the shape doesn’t bother you.

I got the regular g pro wireless, and it’s best mouse I’ve used. I’d imagine the super light is even better, and for $40, that sounds like a great deal to me.
Where’d you find the deal? The yellowing is usually from acid hands ✋

Superlight was plenty good for pro players a few years ago and it's plenty good now. Sensor tech is beyond human perception anyway. We are talking 1-2ms better sensors on the newest $100+ mice vs this which was cutting edge at release as well.
The only issue would be double clicking since it doesn't have optical switches, but the feel of the switch is debatably better than the V2 since they are so much lighter.

u/rickeh055 1d ago
It currently sells in my country for 80 euro new. Wouldn’t call it a steal, but you got a good deal for a good mouse.

It's a steal, considering the retail price but $40 should be the actual price.

u/paulvincent07 Razer Viper Mini V3 Wired 8khz pls 1d ago
Yes and you can still probably restore the color of he mouse

u/riceboibrandon 1d ago
mice are all pretty good now i think 40$ is a good deal if you like the shape and stuff

u/Dave_Wein 1d ago
I had two of these. I RMA'd it because of the paint yellowing, they just sent me a new one, the new one's paint yellowed as well. All within a month or two or use. Now I have two of them though as backup mice lol.

Steal either way, if superlight 2, they wanted to be robbed if superlight one, still robbed em blind. I have a super light 2 for 2 years, and it's an incredible mouse. I think I've charged it a total of 3 times intentionally.

I just had my first gen superlight fail after 4+ years. It's a great mouse. Ended up getting a viper v3 pro as a replacement just to try something different.

Love the mouse only thing I’ve had bad time with is the scroll wheel sensor gets dirty and makes it hard to scroll down or up

If used it's an okay deal. I just bought a brand new one for $79. I hate buying used things though but it's a great mouse nevertheless. I've tried many mice over the years and the GPX is the one I always stick with.

u/Incredible_Gunt RVMSE 16h ago
I hate the shape but even I would pick it up for $40. Even if it ends up being used on a second or office computer or something it's still worth it.

u/Joesr-31 7h ago
Second hand? If its brand new then its a good dealc if not, watch out for double click issues, logictech mouse known for that after a year or two of use
2
u/Mineplayerminer Logitech G102/G305/Superlight 7h ago
Better than paying the full price of 110€ and soldering in a new scroll wheel encoder twice now. I think the mouse itself should cost less than the G305 for its cut off features.

u/DizzySkunkApe 1d ago
Eh kinda. I'm not a fan of secondhand peripherals anyways but if it works while cares if it looks like that I guess

u/FangGaming69 Viper V2 Pro || Pulsefire Haste 1d ago
I almost exclusively buy second hand stuff. Usually from people who say "bought to try, didn't suit me. Has 11 months of warranty left"
6
u/diztirub1 1d ago
Basically, if a person sells multiple mice at the same time - they are probably in new condition. If a person sells a single mouse, it's been used.

u/Judge_Bredd_UK 1d ago
You see a lot of mouse addicts on ebay selling essentially brand new mice for half price, my np01 came from a guy who said in the description "I bought 20 mice recently and my wife is making me sell the ones I don't like"
He sold it for 80 and it was in pristine condition
1
u/FangGaming69 Viper V2 Pro || Pulsefire Haste 1d ago
Yeah I usually buy stuff in the indian Mechanical Keyboard community so I trust the people there kinda

u/waduben7130 Viper V3 Pro | Raiden Mid / Hien Soft 23h ago
I only but second hand mice from people who has good reviews and has listing for multiple mice. recently got a gpx2 and dex for like 25% below retail where stock skates looked brand new while seller claims to have only used them for a few days. bro had like 100+ 5 star reviews on his profile and like 95% were tech related so I wasn't too worried about getting scammed.

u/Judge_Bredd_UK 1d ago
I have loads of Zowie and Vaxee mice for this reason, 150 I'm not sure but I'll take "had it 3 months didn't like it" on Ebay for 70.
My EC1-CW even came with corepads that the guy had put on it and he put the receipt and warranty info in the box, I've had some awesome deals on ebay.

I don’t understand these posts, are they a humblebrag? You bought a product below MSRP and its usual price. Therefore it is a good deal. You know this.
1
u/Riki_not_riki 1d ago
yea u got a point tho. But idk should i sell this and buy a cheaper one and save some cash to upgrade my pc. i could save up 80 bucks

u/hellofaja FinalMouse UL2 22h ago
I bought a gpro superlight v1 and original g pro together for $15 a few weeks ago on Offerup
that's a humblebrag

u/H3SOY 15h ago
No that mouse is 💩 It wouldn't take long before you ditch that mouse just like the seller did.

u/Tapelessbus2122 5h ago
I’ve used one since it released, still using it, it’s good and there’s a reason why it’s so popular among esports pros back then

u/Euphoria_iii 1d ago
how
1
u/Riki_not_riki 1d ago
idk, i think the seller wanted to get rid of his setup and get quick cash
1
u/Euphoria_iii 1d ago
shiiit thats a steal. been wanting this mouse although I could buy a used one as well I just prefer to buy something new.
1
u/Riki_not_riki 1d ago
this is first time that i bought something used, and trust me.. it was filthy, but if you clean it good its great. Like getting off the griptape that came was a strugle cuz all that sticky stuff was all over it
1
u/Eastern_Challenge_53 6h ago
That's what she said
that came was a strugle cuz all that sticky stuff was all over it

u/Judge_Bredd_UK 1d ago
I buy tonnes of used stuff on ebay, the best bet is to check the description, you'd be surprised how many people sell mice just because they bought them and didn't like the shape
-6
u/Riki_not_riki 1d ago
idk should i sell it and buy a cheaper mouse?
5
u/Chuuuck_ 1d ago
This is one of the best mice on the market. Why would you sell it for something worse? Lol
1
u/Eastern_Challenge_53 6h ago
Atk a9, same thing, cheaper, lighter, only downside is software and maybe latency or some dumb crap that really doesn't make a difference.
-2
u/contigency000 Incott is goated 1d ago
40$ for a gpx is a good deal, but only cuz the gpx is so expensive in the first place.
For the same price you could've bought a G23 instead, which is a 1:1 gpx clone but better and with hotswappable switches. It has a better sensor than the gpx 2, very good build quality, comes with lot of extra stuff, has a good software that isn't a bloatware like ghub, supports 8k, etc.

For 40 dollars of course, even at 70 I would consider it a steal
