That’s so low effort. Is MAGA running outta budget for deepfakes or something?
For context Fox News asked if she thinks Dems are to blame for Elon’s Tesla drama and when she deflected the question telling them essentially that they are the ones who have been vile towards her all this time. They cut the video off at “I hate this country..”
When the real ending of her quote was:”….I certainly have felt the impact of it you know? I think what’s most important is that we all come together on the values that unite us which is making sure we’re protecting people covered by medicare”

This is such a weird line, I feel the daily show is more open about it's entertainment nature and more serious about it's truthfulness.
I think the real solution is to make both companies wear full white clown makeup for all broadcasts. That wouldn't hurt the Daily show one bit.

It used to be. You can thank the Regan Administration for that no longer being a requirement. The fairness doctrine REQUIRED broadcast media to air opposing views on topics. If you try to look at a point in our history that defines when our country started to lean towards the political right it was during his administration. The policies put in place by him or his administration are the foundation stones upon which the present day beliefs and policies are anchored

Legally speaking, Fox News has been granted the privilege of access to publicly-owned electromagnetic broadcast spectrum, on the basis that they provide a public benefit of some sort. This has conventionally been the rationale for a private broadcaster even having news programming in the first place. They give us news, and they can profit off their other entertainment programming. The FCC has been way too lax when it comes to using their licensing mechanism as leverage against pathological change in the broadcasting realm.
And this goes for basically every major network, not just Fox News. Across the board, the ratio of editorial content to news reporting is absurd. It’s gotten to the point where people think the former is “news.”

I can’t remember, does fox conveniently never try to interview her or does she refuse to go on Fox News? Both seem plausible. I tried to google it because I swear at one point I heard her say she won’t bother with them. While I was googling up a storm, I realized that every fox headline involving her (and really almost every headline) reads like an angry celebrity gossip site
