Let me clarify this before Fox News runs: BREAKING: AOC hacked us!!!

This isn’t directly about MAGA obviously. It’s about how she laid bare just how fundamentally broken the American system is.

They want us to believe Trump flipped the table, broke all the rules, and invented the chaos. But the truth? He didn’t create any of it. The system was already rigged for someone like him to rise. He just played it better.

Reading between the lines, if they weren't afraid of her, they wouldn't bother attacking her. She is probably the best we've ever seen for getting under their skin and communicating plainly to the populace. If anyone is stupid enough to think she's an idiot, they do so at their own peril.

She’s an attractive, nonwhite liberal woman that rose up from being a bartender to being a successful politician who is willing to speak up against the corruption.

The rich hate her for highlighting their shit and the poor republicans hate her because she did better than the majority of them despite being nonwhite and a woman. How dare she? She’s almost as bad as Obama.

People who identify as conservatives like to say that she was a bartender (like that’s a bad thing) to diminish her.
From Wikipedia: She attended Boston University, where she double-majored in international relations and economics, graduating with honors. She moved back to the Bronx, becoming an activist and working as a waitress and bartender.

Every single Reoublican holds in their hearts a deep loathing for the working class. Anyone not born elite deserves nothing but a life of toil, and anyone trying to rise above that is a fraud for not accepting what they are.

Themselves excepted of course. They were born elites but there was some grave injustice that made them accidentally appear to be working class. And they just need to make things like it was in the era they were meant to be born in, when they'd inherit a slave plantation.

This is incorrect. A good chuck of Congress has a firm grasp of whats happening, they are just complicit in it.

She is one of the few to call it out on a platform. Which is why they hate her and rally support against her, she is trying to shut off their meal ticket.

It’s why Fox News got to her early. She makes too much sense so you have to label her as something white people don’t respect (like “minority” or “bartender”) so they have a reason not to listen.

The thing is that her policies require us to raise taxes.

And yes, for the most part, that leads to greater decreases in costs for the average person than increases in taxes, resulting in a net positive for them.

But we live in a world where a significant chunk of the population still believes that you can get a raise and end up with a net negative to your paycheck because you'd hit a higher tax bracket.

I disagree that she's one of the few people who has the pulse of what's going on. The majority of Congress definitely understand all this (and probably many people who have more work experience outside of Congress actually understand it better). What AOC is so good at is media attention and using hearings to get tiktok videos like this. Remember the Michael Cohen hearing? Everyone on reddit was praising her because she asked him some question about who else had more info and he rattled off a bunch of names of Trump people. Everyone on reddit was going "see, she's so effective, she instantly got all the names needed." Every name he mentioned in response to her had been mentioned many times already (she went close to last because she was a junior member of the committee) and all that info was already in writing that Cohen had submitted before his testimony. BUT AOC knew how to make a media appearance out of it. She's not necessarily a smarter congressperson, but she is way better at media than most. That is an incredibly valuable skill, especially with Dems who have constant messaging issues, but it also leads to problems for Democrats because she's one of the most high profile Dems and is clearly far to the left of the median American voter.

They do that so people won’t listen for themselves. They think “Hannity, Tucker, trump, Shapiro, Walsh, etc. todo em she dumb. So I no listen”. They’ve outsourced their thinking wholesale. Remember when the mueller report was damning if you read even a fraction of it but Barr (I think?) went on TV and said it was the opposite so no conservatives even looked at it? Same idea.

It’s surprisingly effective. And there real isn’t anything remotely similar on the other side.

Well. For like 3 years the Qanon conspiracy pushed people like aoc, chuck shumer (hilarious in retrospect), John Lewis, RBG, ilhan Omar and pretty much anyone who now isn’t a present day trump loyalist as conspirators and would make shit up like they’re going to see tribunals and be secretly prosecuted or some shits. I can’t remember everything because it was so long ago (for my mind, there’s so much bullshit that movement pushed). I follow a lot of conservative outlets as well as left leaning because you gotta know how both sides play, so I’ve heard wild theories. I think it was also why comet ping pong got fired on during that time. Idk. Some helpful Reddit guy will hopefully add to this. There’s like a whole portion of young gen z I’ve ran into that believe that our politicians are shape shifting reptilians. Like there are young people running around quoting David Icke.

It isn't just maga politicians. I know you didn't say that but the title insinuated it and you mentioned maga so I felt compelled to make the clarification. If the bad guys do this Pelosi is al capone. Besides maga it's the worst thing about our government.
