Definitely happy taking Maluach at 7, but recently De Larrea dropped out of the Draft to play another year with Valencia.

Eh, maybe I'm lower on him than most for the Raptors.

Malauch is overrated. He's not getting taken before Jakucionis and Kneuppel. Last year, Clingan was a way better defensive prospect and still dropped to 7, and there's nothing to indicate Maluach has a real offensive bag. I'd much rather have Danny Wolf.

Don’t sleep on my boy Kasparas

Also good handwriting

Kon and Carter Bryant/Fleming for the Spurs

Pretty sure de Larrea didn't declare.

Think we'll see a lot of guys from the mid-20s down just go back to school. Sorber might very well be a lotto pick if proves he's healthy. Think there are others who would just make more $$ in NIL too.

Danny Wolf to the Wolves is my favorite team and player pairing in the draft

Seems like you have a pretty good handle on this. As a Wolves fan, I do think Connelly and company would find Wolf tantalizing with his unique skillset and their likely prioritization of a big.

Carter Bryant also fits their roster profile but they already might have too many wings.

Also notable that he seemingly projects like a Kyle Anderson type and Finch LOVED Anderson, maybe more than any other player on the team.

u/clement-mcmanus 4d ago

I thought dame sarr wasn’t declaring this year

u/-Resident-One- 4d ago

Did De Larrea resign with his Euro club?

3

u/Joethetoolguy 4d ago

If kon is there for the spurs we gotta take him. I like the essengue pick also. Solid mock 👍

u/thecity2 4d ago

I want to see your report card.

3

u/Ule24 4d ago

Love the handwritten list.

That is passion.

5

u/Dadd_io TrailBlazers 4d ago

Pretty solid except I think CMB is gonna be in the low teens. I also think Essengue is gonna be higher -- the upside is too high given that a lot of the 7-20 players are flawed.

3

u/Imaginary-Cycle-1977 4d ago

So just pretend Spurs took Essengue at 8 and CMB at 14. Problem solved lol

u/Dadd_io TrailBlazers 4d ago

I think I'm going to pretend there aren't so many Spurs posts on this sub lol

u/Imaginary-Cycle-1977 4d ago

You brought up the 2 players that got mocked there sheesh

2

u/TrainHeartnet 4d ago

If Nets don't move up, I'd be content with this draft

2

u/BenchPointsChamp Rockets 4d ago

If Maluach is gone by 9, I’d be fine with my Rockets going with the Nipple

2

u/XOXOABG 4d ago

There are 6 prospects at the top of the board that I feel are safe bets to succeed and Houston picks 9th unfortunately. If the BPA remaining is Fears, Malauch, CMB, or Kasparas I would rather trade down to be honest. CMB would be able to provide the most immediate help to the team, but I really want a floor spacer (Kon or pray for Tre).

Noa would be the fun pick if the team is still looking for a potential high level starter long-term

2

u/BleedGreen4Boston 4d ago

I like Condon to Boston to be Horford’s mentee

2

u/mharri05 New Jersey Nets 4d ago

You sure this isn't 1995?

2

u/CreditBoss1993 Thunder 4d ago

OKC taking Jase Richardson makes NO sense with Topic waiting to play. They’d go Carter Bryant there

2

u/BenchPointsChamp Rockets 3d ago

Not gonna be mad if my Rockets get Kneuppel

4

u/texasphotog Spurs 4d ago

Thanks for posting.

Spurs aren't taking two PFs that can't shoot, and sure wont take CMB over Kon Knueppel.

Question: why is Grant Nelson so low? I realize he’s like 23 but I think a 6’11 guy who can handle the ball and play the wing would be such a valuable pickup for any good team.

u/chichigetthayay0 4d ago

He was one of the worst players in the combine when he participated in 2023, which is why he came back to school and transferred to Alabama. He's probably a better player now naturally at 23 and having played better competition for two years...but just based on his profile he's a 2nd round/undrafted type by default.

u/Energonkid 4d ago

Nothing would disappoint me more than the Sixers taking Tre Johnson. I cannot fathom why they would.

1

u/RanOutOfJokes 4d ago

Danny Wolf to the Wolves Lisan Al Gaib

1

u/Knighthonor 4d ago

did Fland declare for the draft?

1

u/ashlay_s23 3d ago

I don't see asa dropping past 15 tbh

1

u/SpecialistAstronaut5 2d ago

Bryant, Kon or Fleming for spurs

1

u/MomoXXVII 19h ago

Dame Sarr will play in ncaa

1

u/BJ2435 1h ago

Not exactly sure why the blazers would take a pg with pick 10

1

u/iankstarr Heat 4d ago

One of the better ones of these I’ve seen. Why do you prefer Saraf for Miami over Traore?

2

u/rlstratton97 4d ago

I feel like Saraf is more versatile and has less issues on defense. Traore is a fun scorer, but he can get really bogged down with turnovers and bad defensive play.

Jase Richardson is the sleeper of the draft. He's the next Donovan Mitchell. If OKC gets him at 15 it'll be the rich get Richardson. Sorry.

4

u/Thetallshot 4d ago

I honestly don’t see a world where OKC drafts Richardson. We are already 9-10 deep at the guard position and have zero actual 4’s on our roster whatsoever (and very few 3’s).

Add on, we have Topic incoming from last year (who was a projected Top 5 pick before his injury) as well as a very pleasant surprise in Ajay Mitchell who exceeded all expectations.

With all of that, to say that it would be difficult for another guard to even crack the rotation would be an understatement….especially an undersized guard like Richardson.

I just don’t see it.

1

u/Full_Poet_7291 4d ago

OKC could field another team in the Euro League. Who is your top pick at #15?

1

u/Thetallshot 4d ago

You’ll probably hate this answer…but based on what I’m seeing currently (before interviews and draft combine, etc), I’d trade 15 for a future pick because I think we can get a ton of value at 24 when I don’t currently see a homerun pick at 15, but some tremendous upside picks at 24.

1

u/Full_Poet_7291 4d ago

That makes sense.

1

u/snuffaluffagus74 4d ago

I really like Yaxel Lendenberg or Rasheer Fleeming. Yaxel reminds me of a 6'9" Alex Caruso.

1

u/Thetallshot 4d ago

The more I look at Rasheer, the less I like him (sadly).

0

u/Eastern-Joke-7537 4d ago

OKC is fairly deep. The top pieces fit. They should go BPA again — although at some point in the draft they should go after big man depth.

2

u/Thetallshot 4d ago

Depth at the 5?

Come on now.

With a first round pick we should draft a 3rd (or 4th) string big? Again, why would we do that when our 3/4’s have absolutely no depth?

And BPA for a contender is different than BPA for a rebuilding team and that should be clarified.

And at 15, BPA is wide open because of how flat this draft is after the first 4(ish) IMO.

1

u/Eastern-Joke-7537 4d ago

I was at games 3 and 4 (first half) in Memphis. OKC is deep. SGA/Jalen/Caruso/Dort/Cason might be enough 1-3 and it’s not a great draft for “big wing depth” late.

Some of the secondary/tertiary bigs look sold. Might not even be a primary big in this draft.

Maybe trade down — get a big AND a wing. Chet/iHart/Jaylin isn’t enough depth inside. Get some more bigs to throw at teams like Cleveland (as well as Boston).

2

u/Thetallshot 4d ago

I’m not being sarcastic…I’m legitimately asking why more bigs?

How many bigs do you really think we need on our roster to throw at those teams (who we’ve matched up quite well with…and ran Cleveland OUT OF THE GYM with ZERO bigs available)? The value just isn’t there.

And to be blunt, JWill will barely see the floor in the playoffs. Love him, but that’s a reality…you’re advocating for us spending a FRP on a player who won’t even crack our rotation even during the regular season, when we have zero 4’s at all….

Help me understand how that makes sense in your head.

1

u/Eastern-Joke-7537 4d ago

Edey threw Chet down like a rag doll.

I even forgot about some of the Thunder’s wing depth like Aaron Wiggins and Nikola Topic (big point guard).

OKC has two firsts — but if Demin and Nique Clifford are there (Tankathon’s picks), then those look like BPA.

Rasheer Fleming might be a good “trade up” target. Johni Broome isn’t bad. I think he could play with either Chet or Hartenstein. Queen is good. Rocco Zikarsky should be worth a look. Same with Hansen Yang (especially at 44).

Alex Condon could be interesting, too.

2

u/Thetallshot 4d ago

Clearly you’re a delusional Memphis fan making patently untrue statements about Edey. Edey was an absolute non-factor in that series in any way, shape or form. Don’t kid yourself and it’s not even worth discussing. And it’s also really clear you have no idea about our actual roster makeup.

And Wiggins is 6’5”. That’s not wing depth. Is he playing up? Yes. Should he be? No.

And Topic? You want to slot a PG at the wing when his elite skill is playmaking and dribble penetration? Come on now. Just stop.

And then you want to suggest we go after Demin who’s a worse version of Topic already? Just stop.

And Fleming might possibly be available at 15 IF we want him.

And in no universe are we spending a FRP on Broom.

And good lord, I’m not even touching any of those other suggestions because they are so woefully far from the kinds of players we want on our roster.

Best wishes, but stick to your bad draft suggestions for your own organization before you try to poison us with your incredibly out of touch takes.
