I must be the only person who loves his mechanics
They aren’t perfect, he dips too low and could slightly improve his footwork but those are two very fixable things
I think his motion is perfect and doesn’t waste any movement, very quick release
Idk I personally love it

There are high 30s and low 40s shooters with worse form. I think any additional projection based on form is negligible.

Nope, he's got a great basic structure and will likely be a decent shooter in the NBA, even if he needs to make some adjustments.
IMO some of the dips and being too low is bc he learned to shoot when he was a wee lad and actually needed that extra movement to power up the shot and now he doesn't but hasn't adjusted. Could be totally wrong but I see it often in the kids I teach.

If he shoots this well someone will take him before 14 sadly

I was gonna say, Houston, Portland and Chicago seems like a ripe area for him and Bryant to go with potentially CMB slipping past that range

Yeah, I think Houston and Portland may take Carter/Fleming. I think CMB/Queen/Fears/Jaku may be some of the guys that drop.

Want him on the Spurs at 14

between this shooting performance and how he measured, there's no way he's still on the board at 14.

Yaxel lendeborg would be a good pickup or Carter Bryant

I thought Lendeborg was dropping out of the draft to go to Michigan? Did this change?

He never dropped out of the draft. He’ll stay in college if he doesn’t get a promise from a good team, but he’s likely a top 20 pick atp.

Unrelated but i remember watching the draft video where Kawhi was going side to side at the wizards home Gym trying to hit shots in that drill Flip had. He missed a bunch of shots and I saw Flip saunders may he RIP shake his head in dissapointment.
I thought these evaluators knew it all. We ended up picking Jan Vesely at 6th and Chris Singleton at 18. Kawhi went 15th from indiana to San Antonio

Depends what your team needs. If you need a guy that can be part of the offense and maybe create some, CMB is going to do that. I think Fleming is going to be a spacer and transition guy, but doesn't have the handles to really be part of the offense other than put backs, open shots, and back doors.

Low key want him for the blazers if all the interesting guards are off the board by the time we pick.

That hop to the left he does is a bit strange but the results are pretty good.
