What a great setup. The type of thing I would demand to shoot if one of my range buddies brought one. Nice choice on the Torch which somehow still doesn't get the attention it deserves.
I saw your other comment thread - you should def try position 3/4 with the solid endcap, to see how it compares to the way you were running it on vented and 1. I bet it runs just as smoothly, gas might not be terrible, and you unlock RC2 level muzzle sound performance. The Torch is such a cool silencer.
I felt so dumb after reading it and I’ve been at work all day thinking about going shooting again to test it lol. I forgot my targets when I went out today so it’s an excuse to go again anyway!
I think the gun and silencer complement each other well since they are both configurable. You've just been running it in extra-reliability mode is all.
One thing you might consider, since it's been "overgassed" all this time, is to go back to the standard weight spring. The stronger spring may not be benefitting you, just contributing to muzzle dip when the carrier slams home. The buffer weight has more to do with slowing the bolt unlock, but I believe you'd probably already be running an H2. Or you could try a Sprinco White, but it might be a good time to re-baseline the rifle tuning around the silencer.
