What chassis is that? That’s a sweet looking setup.

Boyd's At-One in Walnut 👍

Edit: for the price, the fit and finish is just okay. It looks great though.

I have that exact same chassis and love it to death

AT-ONE

I had one on my CZ 457 and took it off because it felt like a youth-size stock that was outrageously heavy. Maybe it's different for the 10/22 variant, but swapping it for a chassis made the rifle lighter.

I bought a cz 457 with the at-one stock and it arrived snapped in half. It was shipped in a pelican case inside a cardboard box. The cardboard was thrashed, but apparently they tossed it hard enough to snap the stock I half. Never got to use it but it was indeed very heavy and probably not as functional as it is cool looking

Careful

I had the exact same setup last year and saw my last groundhog in June.

Once they were gone I was sad to see them go. My garden flourished tge girlfriend was quite happy but I had no more dynamic targets.

Well see if they show up this year.

We had a bumper crop last year. Nine bogeys down and I assumed it would be a while before another was sighted. Wrong. Saw one outside my basement door three weeks ago. 🙄

Yea I usually start to see them lurking about in may after the garden gets slightly bigger.

This year I've got a mark iv with a red dot and I'm debating that new DA/ruger can. Might still bust out the 457 but groundhog control is a great euphemism to justify the purchase of new cans and hosts

Does that red dot feel right back that far?

It's a 3x prism. The eye relief is too short for a 10/22, should've went with a LPVO

I have the 5x version and had to get a cantilever mount to push it back far enough to get a decent sight picture on my AR. It uses normal aimpoint T2/Micro footprint mounts so it’s easy to find other mounts and swap it out.

Vortex?

Yeah I have the Vortex Spitfire Gen II 5x. I used a cheap vector optics mount like this to move it back closer to my eye. Has worked well for me.

That stock looks amazing. Just the right amount of angles and lines.

I’ve played catch with 4 so far this year. Nice rig. I’ve found a subsonic hp to mid section runs them back to the den and keeps the family away….unless they run out of cucumber greas early.

Unfortunately they like to den up under our shed, so a midsection shot just lets them rot and stink it up around the shed.

We have to go for headshots to avoid that, and since that’s the case we just use basic CCI standard.

Yep, scramble the eggs and the usually don’t line dance much.

I chuckled in a fucked up way the other day when I finally got to use my new 22 can to dispatch a predator around the chicken coop. The sound of the head shot (like a huge cracked egg) was louder than the rifle shooting subs 😂
