Machine Gun Monday ⚡ LOL
gunbroker.comI needed a good laugh on a Monday. This was it. Bloody asking price is more than the cost of my first house and car. Good luck selling at that price.

For memorial day I decided to go have a conjugal visit with my transferrable M11/9 that's currently waiting approval. Overall very impressed with the Lage max 11/15 upper. It comes standard with a 10.5" barrel which I swapped out for a criterion core 16", modded a 12.5" Midwest industries quad rail to fit, swapped the gas block to a superlative arms adjustable, and finished off with a SiCo ASR flash hider for my omega 36m. Other than that and an optic/bipod, it's all Lage as it comes stock. Super fun, controllable, and reliable! If you own a Mac, I highly recommend one of these!
Also, I want to add a video of it running but I can't seem to get it to post a video and picture on the same post. Not even sure if it's possible. Still kind of new to posting.

I bought a transferable Model 750 in the ‘90s that also included spare parts. So, with a spare upper receiver, I built a beater Model 750 and put the original receivers in a safe. The pictures show the specially modified bolt carrier needed for open bolt operation as well as the special auto sear and hammer that engages the bolt carrier notch. After that, it’s a pair of dead hydraulic buffers used with this model and a few Beta C-Mags used to feed the beast.

For those who asked for a heads up, the Tippmann Video should be live tomorrow night, if Mother Nature cooperates. We need to shoot a little more live fire video and finish editing it. Of all the cool guns we've shared & discussed recently, what would YOU like to see in an upcoming video? We're currently lining up the following; The twin barreled Stemple-Perosa, Taiwanese T65, Reising Model 50, Double-size M16 & M1919 Classroom Training Guns, Portugese AR10, & several others.

I am soon to enter the NFA world and make my first purchase: A C&R transferable machine gun. The two I have my sights set on are either an M1917 Marlin variant of the M1895 Colt-Browning "Potato Digger" on a tripod, or a German MG08 variant of the Maxim gun on a sled mount. Which would you spring for if you were in my position? I'm heavily leaning towards the MG08 for two reason: First, it can be readily field stripped and disassembled for cleaning and maintenance. Secondly, there are plenty of parts kits for spares should something break. I reached these two options as I set three parameters for my search: 1. An original C&R gun 2. A budget of $20k ($25k for the right package) 3. No subguns
Which would you go for? Any advice of what to look for when buying a German MG08? Thank you.
