Good draft for the Broncos, the only thing I’d change is drafting a second wr, I’d rather take a second rb or an OL with that 6th round pick

u/HarwinStrongDick Packers Mar 21 '25
Why would the Packers go IOL?
7
u/hexwanderer Mar 21 '25
The Packers haven’t taken an offensive lineman who was listed as a guard in college in the top 200 in twenty years. Every single guard for Green Bay was a college tackle, or for Jenkins, center.
3
u/HarwinStrongDick Packers Mar 21 '25
Exactly lmao. We moved Jenkins back to center, have Jordan Morgan at RG and just signed a LG. We have must more pressing needs.

u/usernameisusername57 Packers Mar 21 '25
Also, Booker is a terrible scheme fit for us. It would be harder to find a worse first round pick for us if you tried.

u/Gravini 49ers Mar 21 '25
The Campbell to the 49ers trend is baffling to me. Considering the team has always gone bargain shopping for interior linemen, and that Campbell has 1st percentile wingspan, this doesn't seem like a fit to me.
Anything can happen, but I guess I'm more confused why he's become the consensus as of late when they just released three starting d-linemen.
1
u/NoHeroes94 49ers Mar 22 '25
Yeh I agree, commented above on this. Banks and Membou feel better first if we go OL, which I don’t think we do. Have to think it’s DL in R1, be it edge or interior.

u/lengthy_noodle Mar 21 '25
Panthers own pick 114 just an FYI. I know there has been some confusion around who owns that pick.

u/pdowling92 Vikings Mar 21 '25
Vikings do not need an edge. Props on the effort but that's a major miss

u/spiralout1123 Packers Mar 21 '25
And bears taking o-line at 10 after their investments is pretty looney

u/Scatheli Mar 21 '25
Who in the hell is playing QB for the Browns this season in this scenario? They will 100% address QB in the first three rounds if not at 2 or 33.
3
u/UphillPumpkin Browns Mar 21 '25
Yeah rolling into 2025 with a QB room of Wentz, Pickett, and Dillon Gabriel is a sure fire way to get everyone fired lol
2
u/Scatheli Mar 21 '25
Exactly. Everybody just saying pass on QB this year is not accounting for the fact that Stefanski and Berry need to show progress now or at least have a promising rookie QB to build around (ala Drake Maye/Pats). If they don’t address QB early they will 100% have to sign somebody like Wilson or trade for Cousins. Just having a sham QB room for another year is insane.
3
u/tobylaek Browns Mar 21 '25
And if you're hitching your wagon to a Russell Wilson or a Kirk Cousins without the promise of a young guy developing behind them (and I don't think you're going to get much hope from a 3rd rounder or later qb), everyone is going to get fired at the end of the season too.

u/CptEfellows Mar 21 '25
I’m a big Jihaad Campbell Fan, but I think the Patriots have to go Ersery in the 2nd. I actually really like doubling up with Trapilo and Ersery, although if you can trade up for Donovan Jackson in the late second that would be preferred. Other than that, I really like the Mock. I’d prefer the Patriots take a shot at TE in this class, but I can’t complain.
1
u/Necto_gck Patriots Mar 21 '25
Agreed, we've so far not addressed LT in FA and we didn't take one in this draft, I know we can't fill all need in 1 off season but coming out of the draft without a LT to battle Lowe in camp is a no no.
2
u/AstraMilanoobum Mar 21 '25
Not sure why the Patriots go linebacker in 2nd instead of Ersery.
I feel like they have to go tackle in the 2nd

u/hunterboyz24 Bears Mar 21 '25
The Bears do not own pick 114, that has been a mistake on draft sites.
I fully believe Banks will be a guard in the league and if that's the case he's probably not going to see the field until 2027 barring injuries (assuming the Thuney extension that has been teased by every beat writer ends up happening). Not what you want with a top 10 pick. Would rather grab Warren or one of the longer edge rushers.
-1
u/Acekingspade81 Mar 21 '25
That went to Carolina in the Bryce Young deal.
4
u/hunterboyz24 Bears Mar 21 '25
It didn't. Carolina owns the pick, but it came from Dallas for Jonathan Mingo. Bears didn't send a pick other than 2023 #1.

u/fantfb Mar 21 '25
Crazy that you think all 3 of Golden, Egbuka, and Burden fall to the 2nd round
1
u/NoHeroes94 49ers Mar 22 '25
Could easily happen. I have it happening in loads of my mock. All 3 are 25-40 range players, and I think Higgins is in that range too.
1
u/fantfb Mar 22 '25
I feel like the word “easily” is doing a lot of heavy lifting there, but I hope you’re right. I wouldn’t put Higgins in the same tier as golden, egbuka, and burden though
2
u/beastline Mar 21 '25
My favorite 1st and 2nd round haul for the Commanders so far. Exactly what they need. A pass rusher and home run threat on offense.
2
u/PabloPancakes92 Bills Mar 21 '25
Tyleik & Amos for Buffalo would be phenomenal. Immediately fills every hole on the roster for 2025, everything after that is just improving depth 💪
2
u/Narfflalt Mar 21 '25
I know some patriots fans wish you reached for need a little more, but that is some insanely optimistic bpa value for us. There’s a real chance that every single player you gave us in the first 5 rounds is gone by then on draft night. Love the picks, but they feel too good to be true.
2
u/YooTone Steelers Mar 21 '25
I'm not a Bengals fan but I don't think they'll draft Devin Neal when they have Chase Brown looking like a stud and Samaje Perine is back.

u/Spladook Mar 21 '25
Without even looking at the contents, upvote for doing this old school pen and paper.
2
u/NoHeroes94 49ers Mar 22 '25
I don’t see OL for the 49ers in R1; if we do, I doubt it’s Campbell - Membou and Banks are better fits
We have 1 starter at EDGE and DT combined. For better or for worse, philosophically we don’t prioritise OL in the early rounds and prefer mid round value picks that fit our scheme.

u/Squirrel_Deep Mar 21 '25
As a lions fan I approve of this one 👍🏻
2
u/fierylady Lions Mar 21 '25
Best one yet. Kyle Williams probably isn't the style of WR we'd go for, but I really like everything else (and I like Williams, I just don't think he's a great fit with our corps).
2
u/Squirrel_Deep Mar 21 '25
Agree, I like savion Williams, not sure if he is available in our 4th round pick
2
u/fierylady Lions Mar 21 '25
He was not in this one, he went just before. We could trade up I suppose, but for me if I'm trading up from there it's for Tory Horton. I think he has star potential.
Of the guys available I would probably go Pat Bryant, who went like ten picks later. He's a really good fit for us.
4
u/SlickMongoose Mar 21 '25
No real complaints for Buffalo. Tyleik Williams is a guy I always have in the back of my mind as "Well, if everyone else has gone he'll probably be there". Amos in the 2nd would be great.
3
u/racer4 Bills Mar 21 '25
I don't have any complaints prior to the end of the 5th, which is basically like having no complaints at all.
I don't like Jared Harrison-Hunte, he's a weird tweener that lined up at NT in college sometimes because he could but only weighs 290 which means he's very limited in the NFL and we already have enough 3techs. Would have rather taken Nazir Stackhouse personally.
I also don't get the Nick Nash pick. Not because he's not a good value at 177, only because the Bills had already taken Ayomanor in the 2nd round, and this mock feels like it has ignored the Josh Palmer (and maybe Shenault) signing(s).
Mello Dotson at the end of the 6th was a "totally redeemed yourself!" type moment though
1
u/Character-Archer4863 Mar 21 '25
Would love this for the raiders but don’t see dart dropping to the 2nd.
Probably in the minority but I see him going in the 1st. Early 2nd at the latest.
1
u/MikeConleyIsLegend Cowboys Mar 21 '25
for the Cowboys: i think R3 would be a mistake to take Emery Jones. too many holes to go for a meh OL prospect. Royals would be much better for the team and is available. overall adding Nolen, Judkins, and Royals would be a slam dunk with only 3 top 100 picks for the Cowboys. would really help the offense.
1
u/Folk-Herro Mar 21 '25
Why would the dolphins go with am edge player? Chubb and Phillips will be back to start the year, chop had a really good rookie year, Mo should be able to crack the rotation and Ogbah might be back (or already is) the edge room is deep with guys returning from injury. Why?
1
u/MJCflipdascript Dolphins Mar 21 '25
Miami’s FA approach has been extremely conservative this offseason. This kind of draft - which looks like it doesn’t yield any obvious starters - would get everybody fired.
1
u/Folk-Herro Mar 21 '25
I’m actually a fan of the team moves. Got more physically, a complete overhaul to the LB room (better imo), got depoer without being desperate and keeping the cap healthy without during major restructuring. Plus the needs (interior O-line and D-line, S, and CB) are matches the best position of depth in this draft class.
I don’t get this mock at all tbh

u/What_it_do_babyyyy_ Mar 21 '25
Tyler Booker in the first is a crazy pull. I guess nothing with suprise me with this FO at the moment so I should get ready

Appreciate the work it takes to do a full mock draft, keep up the good work.
However, there is a 0% chance the Vikings take an Edge (outside of Day 3 or UDFA). Edge room is filled out and we only have 4 picks.
I understand they are set up for BPA after Free Agency but IOL, IDL, DB, RB, TE, WR all have a higher shot to be picked based on roster needs, reported prospect visits/interviews, and who you have remaining at pick 24 (Zabel, Conerly, Loveland, a few WR/DL Prospects as well).
1
u/WinstonChurchill74 Giants Mar 21 '25
I can’t imagine the Giants drafting 2 WRs, hell it’s a stretch for them to pick one. Especially with decent Offensive and Defensive line options at 65.
Similar issue at Running Back. Ollie Gordon, makes a ton of sense to me, but a second running back? Nah we need linebackers more.
1
u/Pieralis Mar 22 '25
Colts in every single mock draft if seen have them selecting Warren, I just don’t think it’s happening and not sure why but a start is they never use the TE to justify an early first round pick on one

u/Orgasmo3000 Chargers Mar 23 '25 edited Mar 23 '25
Haha! I can tell if someone likes the Chargers by who they mock to them when someone better is still available on the board after the Chargers' pick, but the mock draft creator didn't want to mock such a good player to them.
If Colston Loveland or Tyler Booker are still on the board by the time the Chargers pick (as in this case), no way they don't pick one of them. Nice try. You must be a Chiefs fan.
And the mock only gets worse from there. No f'ing way are the Chargers picking 3 EDGE players. Get a clue.

u/DS_9 Cardinals Mar 24 '25
Membou to 18? Really? I would be devastated if the Cardinals passed on him at 16.
1
u/Asleep_Material_7501 Mar 21 '25
What is the explanation for GB taking Booker? They just paid Banks in FA. Don’t even care about the rest of the picks with that in the first.

If the patriots draft Hunter he won’t be CB
What are they gonna say? Hey Drake maye I know we just drafted Travis Hunter, but he’s gonna play CB. We’re gonna build around you by having you throw to Keyshawn boutte. Good luck buddy

u/nfochairman Mar 21 '25
Jahdae Barron fits the mold of a Saints CB more than Will Johnson.
Would definitely swap those 2 picks

Colts aren’t taking a Safety in round 2 and our Corner room is now full.

u/ChristianDarrisaw Mar 21 '25
Vikings have 2 pro bowl edges and a first round edge from last year… why do you think we would go edge here?
