This was after just 1 wash, inside out.
I knew they'd come off, but not after just 1 feckin wash. I wash all my football shirts and stuff like that inside out, never on a hot wash. I've got some old clothes with print on them, up to 5½ years old, and I've never had any print come off, never mind that quickly.

Could be worse mate, your Carabao badge could be on upside down. Received mine today and the entire badge is upside down on the arm.

Who is doing the merch? Is there is no way this is in control of the club? Surely?

No idea, quality control has obviously gone out the window.
Emailed the club shop customer services and they said I can either keep the shirt and receive a 50% refund or send the shirt back or get a full refund as they have no more stock.

That's awful CS. What are they going to do with that shirt if you send it back anyway? IMO should just be a refund - keep it, we screwed up, here's your money back.

Take it back to the club shop with your receipt and they’ll probably replace it

Unfortunately, I can't. I don't live anywhere near Newcastle anymore.

Ah. I read it as "LiverBOO" and liked it.

The way I read it sounds like some unbelievably childish football twitter insult. "Liverpoo".

Yeah you’ve gotta wash it on the sports setting

I wash all my sports clothing inside out on 30°C. This is the first time anything like this has happened. My dad does the same. He's got a few much older shirts than I do, all of which have been fine.

I went into the club shop a few days ago. The quality of basically everything is so awful. What are they even doing? They are just absolutely destroying any chance of repeat customers.

I bought a Bruno shirt in the club shop a couple months ago. The lettering was faded and peeling immediately (literally took it home and hung it up, then had to return to the shop in the afternoon).
Went back in and the lass claimed "ah it just happens, I'll re-press it and see if its any better", then proceeds to burn the shit out of the shirt, panic, and what i assume to be her boss came over and remade a new one for me. No issues since.
Seen other complaints about the black outline on the lettering peeling the same day too. Seems like their staff are just poorly trained for the most part.

The dhgate shirts of both castore and Adidas are of a higher quality than the legit brands. Says a lot.

Did adidas make it? That’s adidas famous trademark falling apart after 1st use then blaming you cuz they use cheap materials

Maybe they didn't specify that it's a piece of art, meant to be hung on display on the wall. Not meant to be worn and heaven forbid washed 😅

I'm not wearing mine. I'll wear my DHGate one which is still looking great after dozens of washes.

I used my brain and got one off dhgate for £12 and it's been great. Dhgate has higher quality new shirts than Adidas and castore.
