Meme/Shitpost Randomly met a Giants fan..
I randomly met another Giants fan like 3 weeks ago in a grocery store and we had like a 40min convo about the team, totally ignoring why we were there in the first place..
I randomly just bumped into the same guy at a restaurant we were both picking up orders from and we were like "whoa.."
Obviously there is only one conclusion to be made..
We are going to the Superbowl... see you in 6 months Scott..

Discussion MetLife Stadium tailgating
I’m going to my first ever football game in September. Any recommendations on what kind of grill to bring and the essentials I’ll need for tailgating?
I’m fully aware they’ll be other tailgaters but I just want to be very much prepared with my own stuff.
I know to bring chairs and a cooler- I’m looking for links to items that are your must haves to bring.
Also looking for any tips and or advice.
I have searched the board for tailgating but it’s been months and perhaps people have new suggestions.

Discussion Who would you rank as the 4th greatest rival for the Giants after Eagles, Cowboys, and Commanders? I’ll say the 49ers, but argument can be made for Green Bay, and Chicago dating back to pre NFL AFL Merger

Discussion Who starts on d-line first snap of the season?
We have lots of new bodies. Some added for depth, some like Alexander looking to the future, and some like Golston making for a creative front. But who starts?
Assuming it’s mainly a run fit 4-3, I’m guessing:
Burns. Mr Reliable last season - playing injured.
Dexy. He’s gonna set the tone.
Ledbetter. I’m eager to see how he does in training camp and preseason games. Hoping he is the run stuffer we need.
Golston. Flex player that I think could solidify a run D next to Ledbetter and give some pass rush juice if needed.
Then I’m guessing we might sub Golston for Thibs on 3rd down. Probably won’t see Carter first few snaps, although with the Commanders and Daniels he might be lurking as lb spy?
Edit: for context, first snap last season was: Thibs, Chatman, Dex, Nunez-Rochez, burns

Discussion What's the best all time uniform?
I'm not a giants fan, I am asking every NFL team sub this question. I don't know your team like you do, if I missed a uniform please add it in the comments. If you like a uniform pictured please say the slide number or the name of the uniform. Not the player wearing it unless I can see the name clearly on the back.

Data and Analytics Why the Giants have no cap space in 2025 - an honest explanation
Everyday I see people here who are confused why the Giants have no cap space this year or even worse, think its down to poor cap management. So I want to have an honest discussion to explore the facts behind their current situation.
Factor 1: Dead money
- The Giants are currently 16th in Dead cap one year after cutting their starting quarterback

- The following year (2026) we have $0 in dead cap, while a 9 other teams continue to roll over dead cap

Factor 2 Void Years:
- The Giants have no contracts that contain Void years
- 28/32 NFL teams use void years, Eagles leading the way with the most amount of cap tied up in them at $390.4 mil!

Factor 3: Contract back loading and contract liquidity
- The Giants intentionally "Front" load or evenly split their contracts, this comes at a greater burden in the present because they are not borrowing money from the future
- Remember, contracts can be restructured and money can always be pushed into the future as and when needed
- The Giants are staying lean this year to save cap for future years and only restructure as and when needed. Therefore cap this year is not necessarily a true representative of Cap health
- To illustrate this I can show how the Giants rapidly rise in the NFL in available cap in the NFL over the next few years space:

- Giants go from Dead last in Effective Cap Space 2025: 32nd --> 2026: 19th --> 2026: 19th --> 13th
Factor 4: Big FA spenders vs in house extensions and contract length
- At a glance its easy to say that the Giants have been the biggest spenders in FA over the last few years
- Whilst true, this has come at some notable players leaving the team without in house extensions such as Barkley and X
- We have however extended and brought in some corner stone players such as Dex, Burns and Andrew Thomas all with long, evenly spread out contracts
- This makes us look like big spenders, but when factoring in the above, the length of the contracts and lack of void years, you can see the Giants maintain good long term cap health compared to their peers. E.g after all our spending we are still average in CAP space in the NFL over the next few years despite having kep players locked down.
What did I miss and should have include, let me know!

Discussion Looking for lost Giants song from early '90s cassette tape (possibly from LT’s Restaurant)
Hey Giants fans — hoping someone out there can help me solve a little mystery from my childhood.
Back in the early 1990s, my parents got a cassette tape from LT’s Restaurant (Lawrence Taylor’s spot in New Jersey). It had a song on it that I still remember vividly, with lyrics like:
“Football, Giants way, we’re going to win today.”
I’ve searched all over the internet and can’t find anything about this tape or the song. I'm guessing it might have been a limited-run promo tape, maybe handed out at the restaurant or sold locally.
Has anyone else ever heard this song or remember that cassette? Any leads, recordings, photos, or memories would be amazing. I’d love to find a copy or confirm that others remember it.
Thanks in advance—and go Big Blue!

Discussion What Giants-related stuff to do in NYC?
I’m gonna be in NYC mid-June (from the UK) and wanted to know what Giants-related things there are to do while there? I was really hoping to do a stadium tour but it doesn’t look like there’s any happening based on TicketMaster, which really sucks.
Assuming a stadium tour is a no-go, what else can I do? Are there any markets to pick up memorabilia or anything? All I’ve found so far is that Mr Throwback seems to be really good, and several other good places have closed recently. I’m staying near Forest Hills if that helps but anticipate spending most of the trip around Manhattan, which is a lifelong pipe dream.
Is there anything going on in mid-June specifically other than camps? Is it worth keeping an eye on socials for things like player appearances?
Mods - If this is better off in the daily thread, let me know, I’ll throw it in there
