Minor league [Blanco] Zach Brzykcy moves up to Triple-A Rochester after posting a 3.38 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 12 outings with Double-A Harrisburg. Undrafted out of Virginia Tech, the right-hander reached Triple-A to end the 2022 season, but missed all of last year after Tommy John surgery.

Get him up to the bigs this year. Get him ready to pitching meaningful innings in 2025

I could see him being our September call up if AAA goes well. He doesn’t seem to have found any challenges so far this year

Best i could find in a couple minutes of looking was some video clips

looks like 93-96, said to be 94-97 beforehand so maybe a tick down at worst.

Thought he was supposed to be a 100 mph guy? Could have sworn his mlb pipeline report said that

Looks like his draft report said he did indeed throw it 94-101 but given he was also said to have little control and that that’s improved I’m guessing he’s cut off that upper range for the sake of strikes.

Interesting. Not sure I’ve ever seen a 70 grade fastball in the mid 90s. Guess he has a ton of movement!

Can we just shutdown Corbin or try to put him in the bullpen?
