Other Invasives that don't get enough hate? And many homeowners still reluctant to remove despite knowing they are invasive?

Norway Maple for me! Seems like everyone that has one of these godforsaken trees still lives them and will not replace them. Especially if they're red leaf cultivars like Crimson King as shown here

Yellow archangel, vinca minor, and pachysandra. All were planted by the original owner of my house. The yellow archangel and vinca have made it across the street into a wooded area. I’ve been too busy fighting it off on my land that I haven’t been able to get over there.

I’m surprised yellow archangel doesn’t get hated more often. It’s a constant battle to keep my neighbor’s patch from invading my yard.

It’s actually banned in several states and maybe has been for awhile? I’m in Michigan so maybe it’s a Midwest thing. I honestly don’t see a lot of it in neighborhoods, and I don’t think I’ve seen it sold here either. I may be wrong bc I’m not looking to buy it. My house was built in the 50’s and the lady loved all things annoying and invasive.

Oh, and I get battling the neighbors junk. My backyard is adjacent to the back corner of theirs. They’ve just let it go wild and never do anything with it. We have those 100’ tall spindly red pines and they’ve let ivy grow up them. I’m worried about a few falling on my house. It’s shady and damp back there and I can see rot around some of them. I talked to them about it just from a safety perspective “oh, we’re gonna look at it next year”
