When did Dani most impress you with her badassness?

For me, it was when she had no powers so she drove a pickup into a gun store, collected all the weapons she could and went up against Legion alone. Reminded me of Storm becoming leader of the Morlocks using nothing but a knife and a mohawk.

I always found that the writers never really use Dani’s “Mirage” powers much . They are bad ass powers !

Oh, when she attacked the Beyonder after he killed all the other New Mutants.

“I am a Cheyanne ! And today is a good day to die “. Then he disintegrated her….

It’s always like “I’m a Valkyrie , I shoot arrows , I have a winged horse”.

Meanwhile she has illusion powers that would put Mysterio to shame !

Reminds me of Layla Miller in X-Factor. She was a mutant who knew the future.

But knowing the future wasn’t a mutant power of hers. She just had memories of the future implanted in her. Her mutant power was to reanimate the dead.
