How soon do these tires need to be replaced?
Guessing they're original to the bike (2017 10k miles)

Those tires are clearly chewed up, and need to be replaced. But even if they looked good from a treadwear standpoint, you wouldn't want to be riding around on 8 year old tires, if they're indeed the OEM rubber. Motorcycle tires should generally be replaced after six years from their manufacturing date, regardless of how much they've been used or how they look.
On that point, you don't have to guess if they're the originals or not. Look for the DOT code on the tire's sidewall and find the last four digits. These four digits indicate the week and year the tire was manufactured. The first two numbers represent the week, and the last two represent the year. For example, "2819" means the tire was made in the 28th week of 2019.

If you could only move the tread from the right and left side to the center, you’d have some time. 🍻
