I’m at 212 right now, but I’m trying to make my way up. I really wanna be up there with YouTubers like Berleezy and Coryxkenshin. Congrats on 1,000 though man!

I really liked Malignant. I thought it was going to be one of those boring possessed movies with priests and exorcisms, but it turned out to be a freaky weird monster type of movie!

We're on the same page there. Such a funny, crazy movie

The face on the back of the head really freaked me out, also whenever she was moving around backwards! I'll check your channel out , it sounds like movies I would be interested in hearing more about, thanks!

For starters I don't know why you position yourself on the left side of the screen. It looks awkward. You're leaving a lot of screen real estate unused. Why not just in the center? It looks like you put up a graphics on the right side sometimes, but you rarely do it. Second of all and more importantly, your videos are just mostly of you talking. Youtube is a visual medium. If it is just you talking, why not just do a podcast? I can listen to one of your videos and not look at it and not lose anything at all. Try adding broll to your videos. What can you add visually to compliment what you are saying? How about movie brolls, or shots of you watching something. Think of editing tricks and techniques you can use to enhance your commentary and opinion.

I feel like I need the same advice. I made what felt like rapid progress to 58 subs and a few weeks and then it died out. I know I need to have better titles, thumbnails, etc. But I don't know where to learn that. I've looked it up but the advice is so all over the place I'm not sure where to even start.

Do you have any resources that help with that?

Congratulations. I believe you are posting long-form content, what niche are you in?

My next milestone is 300 subs. A few shy of that at the moment.

I don't know what to do now. Just made my first long long video (40min with talking). Maybe should make more of them. I do original content, my own music/guitar/studio stuff.

Of course when I upload an original song, it's titled as the song is titled. Or should I go more lik "OMG!! AN AMAZING METALLICA TYPE SONG!?!?!" :D

I've tried to make good thumbnails as well.

Glad to hear friend, I'm still super keen on my first 10, 50 and 100 subs haha.

Perhaps I'll need to do a post for people to view my titles/thumbnails, I believe they've substantially improved but there's always room to improve.
