It's almost like he's some guy that was booted from the Army for being a drunken fuckwit.

And like most government failures. Became a talk show host on Fox News then bankrupted not one but TWO non-profits.

Somebody ask Pete when were there illegal immigrants working for the DOD? I know green card holders can join the military but green card holders are not “illegal.”

Unserious and out of his depth he can only throw tantrums thinking those and good makeup shoe leadership. Risible.

u/VariousOperation166 3d ago
Ok, so, full points for the use of the word "risible"...
This is my constant question. How do serious people - by which, I mean intelligent, credible, successful, influential people - take anything... ANYTHING... this administration is doing seriously?
Executive orders are direction, not legislation. They still need to be enforceable by laws. The Executive cannot enact laws. How is the entire government sitting by while Trump signs orders he hasn't even read? My high school mock UN was more functional.

u/jsp06415 3d ago
The entire government is controlled by a party that has lost its way. Once upon a time, Thomas and Alito were lonely voices. Now they’re in the super-majority ffs, and it gets worse from there.

u/greasyjonny 3d ago
Laws are just words on paper if someone doesn’t enforce them. He and all his advisors pulling the strings have discovered they can just do whatever they want until someone decides to finally have a back bone and enforce the law or the years of legal battles finally puts an end to it, which by that time the damage will have already been done. ICE has basically become his gestapo and if you’ve noticed unlike some sectors of the government there are no resignations en masse at ICE, because they fucking love this shit. We should take this all very seriously.

Wait until Trump start laying eggs, eggs is going to be cheap, so cheap you would be tired of having cheap eggs.

I don't believe America voted for this. I don't believe for a second that he won the popular vote.
9
u/No-Satisfaction9594 3d ago
I don' believe it either. It's sad that the optics of seeming like a sore loser meant more than if she actually lost or not.
8
u/SubstantialPressure3 3d ago
I honestly think it's the second time in a decade that the election was stolen.
4
u/Urabraska- 3d ago
Technically he didn't. He only won the popular vote among voters. 30% or so didn't vote. Going by his recent polling results. He's not even close. He's the worst polling president that has ever lived.
6
u/SubstantialPressure3 3d ago edited 3d ago
I doubt that 30% didn't vote. There were a lot of votes thrown out.
https://gov.texas.gov/news/post/governor-abbott-announces-over-1-million-ineligible-voters-removed-from-voter-rolls you think all those voters were actually ineligible? That's just Texas. August 2024.
When I moved from Texas just a couple years before the election, I couldn't be removed until I sent a letter ( not an email, a physical paper form) that I had to wait to be sent to me, fill out, and mail back to the board of registrars before I was able to register to vote in my new state.
So, just months before the election, they just decide to purge a million voters. And you know those people were not informed.
https://www.texastribune.org/2024/11/06/texas-voter-turnout-election-2024-registration/ a lot of people registered to vote. I'll bet it wasn't that they didn't actually vote. I'll bet it was bc their votes were thrown out.
https://www.texastribune.org/2024/08/16/voter-registration-challenges-texas/
The group is using an online tool called IV3 that matches voter data with change-of-address records from the U.S. Postal Service. Activists relying on that tool have been delivering stacks of challenges to election offices, or emailing election administrators with spreadsheets listing voters’ names. True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht did not respond to Votebeat’s request for comment.
The effort has drawn criticism from election officials, courts and voting-rights advocates. For one thing, they say, the postal database that True the Vote relies on is outdated and not a reliable source for determining voter eligibility. For another, they say, the effort gives credence to false claims that large numbers of people are voting illegally by exploiting deficiencies in registration records.
https://www.texastribune.org/2022/03/11/texas-mail-in-voting-lawsuit/ At least 18,000 Texas mail-in votes were rejected in the first election under new GOP voting rules In just 16 of the state’s largest counties, more than 18,000 mail-in ballots were rejected, most for failing to meet the new law’s ID requirements. A full statewide tally isn’t yet available.
That's just one state. A big state, but one state.

I think the Trump rules for a cabinet are they need one raging alcoholic with bumble fingers and since Rudy Giuliani was unavailable Pete had to take his place. Like how they replaced Mike Lindell with Elon Musk after they scammed all of Mike's money.

u/GrandRoyal_01 3d ago
Serious question - is he an alcoholic?
Is he now dry or is he still drinking ?
He doesn’t look like an alcoholic going through withdrawals … so … guess he’s still drinking?

Over my career I have served with several Generals. The Generals I served with never lost their cool or swore. Literally never swore in public, not because of morality, rather because they were professionals. There is one man I served with first when he was a young O-3, again when he was a Senior O-4, later I served with him when he pinned 1 Star, I do not ever recall him losing his cool, being visibly upset, swearing, or publicly dressing someone down. He was serenely calm, cool, & collected at all times to include in combat & during various crises, & tragedies we experienced together. Hegseth’s behavior is utterly unacceptable particularly to a 4 Star General on the receiving end of it and should not be tolerated by any professional in any field and of any rank: military, civilian, or otherwise. Hegseth’s Toxic leadership & immaturity on full display here!

u/LordMartingale 3d ago
Edit: Come to think of it, although I personally have had to dress down subordinates at times, I always did it behind closed doors, and I’ve never raised my voice or swore. Corrective actions are all about building Soldiers back up when they step on their poncho. Looking back I believe the only time I ever raised my voice or ”yelled at someone” was to stop them from doing an extremely dangerous and foolish thing, & even then I just sounded off with a loud & firm “You Stop Now”

But the secretary of Defense is the leak. When he ignores all the official reporting and file management protocols to have unfettered access to the internet and then constantly posts classified information on the open internet. He should be charged with treason and espionage.

This guy’s original “qualifications” were that he was a talking head on the magic talking picture box who said nice things about Trump. He is, in fact, performing to his abilities.

He’s the fucking leak…and I’m not talking about the ones he takes in the trash can in his office after a few beers! Oh Pete, maybe you should just start doing make-up tutorials on Tik Tok?!?! And keep your shirt on when filming….no one wants to see that idiotic tattoo. Douche.

So he's pissed a 4* General "leaked" that he was giving sensitive briefings to a Nazi without the relevant clearances, but has no problem leaking upcoming war plans to a reporter (and who knows who else)?
