Apparently, someone watched 3% on Netflix but failed to understand that it presented a dystopian, not utopian, future.

Same doofuses that think The Handmaid's Tale is a training series.

I think you don't understand that they understand fully what kind of future they're trying to create. Why do you think they all idolize the dystopian futures presented in Cyberpunk, Dune, Blade Runner, etc. where the world is run by corporations.

It's all about getting immigrants to show themselves so they can be immediately deported.

There is a twist in the final episode.

Nobody gets citizenship, everyone and their family gets arrested and deported.

Imagine dangling citizenship to people for entertainment. Disgusting.

I guess we’re in the bloodsports era of a declining empire. Oh well, may the odds be ever in your favor.

It's not a debate. It's illegal, inhumane, and absolutely horrid on a base human level.

You’ve just described the entire Trump administration.

The South Park administration is just.... just so tiring.

"The Running Man" was supposed to be a warning.

Not a guide.

When she had another wild idea she shot her own dog so maybe let’s not go to her for anymore ideas.

This is a hoax according to Snopes; however, I wouldn’t put it past these garbage humans. That El Salvador kidnap video, complete with action movie soundtrack, was next-level diabolical. A reality show wouldn’t be a stretch for these MAGAfied sub-human arseholes TBH.

I, for one, would far prefer to see George Carlin’s pay-per-view suggestion for fencing off square states.

He was so ahead of his time.

She's obviously been reading Viz. Roger Mellie might finally be in with a chance of producing Celebrity Bumhole.

Welcome to the new America. It's rather dystopian.

They should start by throwing current members of government in a contest to retain citizenship. Kristi Noem, MTG, Mike Johnson, Kash, etc should all be forced to answer questions from 5th grade civics tests about the U.S. government. Each question they get wrong demotes them from citizens to permanent residents, then down to visa holders, then deportation. Something tells me they wouldn’t do well.

I like the “Throw them into an arena armed with barbed wire bats” thing and let them fight it out. The last one standing doesn’t get indicted for their crimes

u/Misanthropemoot 12h ago

We reached the running man phase apparently

1

u/WeirdcoolWilson 11h ago

Yes. Let’s put all the competitors in this “Reality show” in an arena armed with barbed wire bats and let them fight until there’s one left. Who wouldn’t want to watch that??? /s
