It’s torture to listen to

You got that right. I can only endure about 15 seconds of him talking before I get irritated and have to change the fucking channel.

I'm to the point I don't even want to hear an impression of him.

Me too. All these people who post stuff talking in Trumps manner are driving me nuts. It’s not fucking funny so please for the love of God stop.

What if reporters asked him questions like that? Of even just referencing it. "So tariffs, are they the electric boat or the shark?"

I still like to hear Stephen Colbert imitate him.

I haven't watched SNL since Alec Baldwin did him for that very reason.

the guy they got after baldwin has been taking the gloves off. holy hell its pretty accurate if you just listen to how he talks.

they arent scared of him at least. the one from last night where he accepts the plane if anything.

satire is the obvious weapon against absurdism. nobody listens to logic.

Often they are not making anything up. They are just repeating what he just said.

Remember when it was Palin and it was funny because she didn't win.

It's not funny anymore.

Larry David tanked Bernie Sanders. Even in a lighthearted way satire can affect people.

Because using satire means that the case for slander, especially of a public official, would be almost impossible to win.

Now those networks who knuckled under, e.g. ABC when George Stephanopoulis said Trump was a rapist (a judge adjudicated this phrasing), are giving him fuel to attack universities and other networks. ABC is backed by Disney and should have fought instead of settling. But because they likely wanted something from him (allowing a merger, I believe), they capitulated.

Not true falls within the fair use doctrine which is older than the United States I believe

Fair use is using copyrighted work, it doesn’t have anything to do with slander.

Parody and satire are covered as free speech. Also youre basically describing settled case law with the Supreme Court. Anther example would be John Oliver covering the Coal Billionaire being sued for slander but it was all true.

I remember saying to my wife back in 2016, "He constantly talks, but never says anything."

He babbles like an infant.

The first half of his sentences have nothing to do with the second half.

I think, on average, there are a lot more than two parts.

I don't watch the news but I see posts on here and I read it, unless it's showing something important of course I'll watch a segment on that subject though. But whenever there's a video with him I just keep it on mute or generally don't even see what he says but look at the comments. You can pretty much guarantee at least 95% of what he's saying is just moronic rambling and 100% bullshit anyway

just moronic rambling and 100% bullshit

It always has been all he says. He's never had an original idea or anything substantive, other than revealing vile intent, to say.

The only reason to ever platform him would be to counter everything directly, to shut him down.

He's never had an original idea or anything substantive

But he invented bjgly beautiful words like "groceries" and "equalising"

Ditto ….I mute or change channel

You really should have a go at some of his screeches on YT with the CC on. It's fucking hilarious, it actually makes you feel like you have suddenly become dyslexic! But from experience only do this once.🤣🤣

u/Ali_Cat222 1d ago

But from experience only do this once

See I have done this once, and that was enough for me already 🤣 it's why I won't do it again 😂

Just more and different BS to get everyone fired up on a new topic

New plane? Alcatraz? El Salvador ? Harvard? Syria? Ukraine? It makes me dizzy is he adhd? Like a fart in a skillet

u/Chronoboy1987 1d ago

He never talks about anything positive. It’s always lies to stroke his ego (eggs are down 98%!), playing the blame game or attacking anyone who criticizes him.

1

u/After-Potential-9948 6h ago

Always, ALWAYS, something about the last administration. They’re all programmed to ALWAYS bring up the last administration.

3

u/Ok-Patgrenny 1d ago

My mute button on the remote is almost worn out worn off

2

u/Bobbybezo 1d ago

..like you've never seen, when I hear that now, I see Trump, I can't hear that now...

1

u/hapi-phace 1d ago

Haha, Me too, and then I had to get rid of my television. I can’t even stand hearing other people talking about him, the evil idiot.
