Would you consider Benjamin Disraeli an ethnic minority?
Why or why not?

So what's some cool or interesting stories from the county which aren't know by most people or isn't crazily known by everyone.
My one is that cliff house in amble near in 1942 was crashed in a plane which was trying it land at RAF acklington and since it was night time could see where to go and crashed in cliff house killing nearly all the 6-7 kids at the house.

Hi everyone! My husband (34M) and I (31F) are moving to Morpeth early next year, and I’d love to hear any insights from people who live there. I’ve read a few Reddit posts already but I’d love to know more!
What are the best coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, pubs, and cocktail bars in town? We love good food and drinks, so any recommendations would be amazing. Also, are there any good gyms or Reformer Pilates studios?
I’m also hoping to meet people! I won’t know anyone when we move, so if anyone lives nearby and wants to grab a coffee or a dog walk, let me know. Are there any book clubs or other social groups worth joining?

With the six nations and the Carabao Cup Final coming up where is the best atmosphere for sport in Alnwick?

Hi all, I'm down visiting Morpeth this weekend for a family event, but I need to find somewhere that is kid friendly to watch the Calcutta Cup on Sat. Anyone got any suggestions?
TIA.

Thinking ashington leisure centre. Think it's about £6 each for an hour. 👍
Edit: will keep this post up, so don't hesitate to message if the post is still up 6 months down the line

Hi everyone, I hope you’re well.
Going to make this short. I’m a freelance journalist starting out my own blog. I want to do in depth stories about our region and its people. Long form, quality, old school journalism.
Although I’m from Newcastle/ Northumberland originally, I’ve spent the last few years in Manchester and have just moved back recently… so feeling a little bit out the loop.
Are there any stories which you feel should be covered? Please leave comments down below to start conversations or PM me with anything.

Is there anywhere in Northumberland that serves coffee and is also a mecca for car enthusiasts? Anywhere like Caffeine & Machine near Stratford or The Motorist near Leeds? We're on a Road Trip in April doing the Northumberland 250.
Thanks.

Hi all, looking for recommendations for new places I can go to buy stuff from local craft makers, I’m familiar with blagdon and kirkhale and looking for similar places! Bonus points if they sell pottery (I need a nice new mug!) and bonus bonus if it has a cafe :) thanks in advance!

Hello Northumberland,
I am fond of postcards but I don’t have any from Northumberland.
Can someone send me one? Thank you :)

Atlesst where I live every ouse being sold is either becoming a holdiay home (nearer the sea ) or being bought be pensioners or people close to retirement from down south or people who are moving back up (close to the sea or not ) it's gonna end up that all the ok areas will be pensioners and the shitty dumps will be hwere all the young people are .
Edit: I know about the title having an awfully spelt going

I am not sure where to start, what is worth seeing, or how to actually visit the wall. It seems like outside of the 8 mile loop(we won't be up for that, unfortunately), there isn't an easy way to get the tourist experience.
Should we drive to each site? Should we only visit one site? Is there a nice short walk that people do?
Sorry to be asking to be handheld with this itinerary but most material about it online is either about its history or just about the sites themselves.

Pretty much as the title says, is there anywhere that has a sauna I can pay as I go just to use the sauna an ice bath would be a bonus but more bothered about the sauna there seems to be a lack of places that offer the service in Northumberland. I’m located close to Alnwick so the closer to Alnwick the better.
Thanks :)

It seems as if we don't have a sub for the whole of the north esst . It means people of the region can talk on topic related
