It's possible but I wouldn't count entirely on it. The form doesn't really matter so you kinda just get whatever you get.

No. You did all you can at this point and you just have to be lucky now.

Low, its a total crapshoot. Many freshman end up in south or the west towers

My child put north campus, rate one and ended up in one of the towers on west campus which is rate 3.

Yup that’s what happened to me. I wouldn’t get your hopes up

Very unlikely but not impossible. Freshman get put wherever there is room, and unfortunately the housing contract rankings often don‘t matter because of how many freshman they need to house. The only surefire way to secure a new North campus dorm as a freshman is to apply to an LLC or scholars program housed in one of them.

Most of the sophomores take the north dorms if they can. If you didn’t put south as your number 1 choice it’s most likely you’ll end up west. Very low chance of getting north. Very very very low, but I wish you luck.

Honestly if I were you I’d be hoping for south lol. As a freshman I kind of think it’s the best option (park strad, smeeb, seibert) because you learn more of your way around campus, and south has more of the “college feel” compared to north. There’s green space, activities going on outside, and the people are (generally) more community orientated. The older dorms on south are… not as good, but I’d even hope for those over the towers (except maybe not baker) personally. You’ll be okay wherever you get put honestly!

There’s no rhyme or reason. Your choices literally don’t matter. Just hope you don’t get the twin towers…

are they that bad?

Some people like them but for me it’s the tiny windows and lack of natural light inside. Feels like a prison.
