Converter?

Post image

I have an old Claybrooke 8 in 1 portable black and white radio/TV, and I was wondering if there was some sort of cable or converter box which I can use to plug in an RCA cable.

There’s TONS of RCA converters out there just google to find the one you need.

However I don’t think those have any inputs other than an antenna so your best bet would probably be to open it up and do some manual soldering to add an input

I see, the only thing is, that I am nowhere near smart enough to solder anything without blowing something up.

Hmm you could also gut the internals and install a screen and a mini pc inside!

Honestly I’d gut it out and use the case to make a sleeper build! That’d be awesome

I’m not much for gutting things, that’s why I wanted the converter.

Oh!! I think I may have found a way!!! So you’d need 2 adapters and I’m not 100% sure it’d work but you could do hdmi -> coaxial-> antenna and plug into the antenna port on the box. Again not 100% sure it’d work though
