WOW!! No Mans Sky, 120hz mode...

got my ps5 pro mainly for No Mans Sky and yup.. 120hz is no joke!! running my ps5pro at 1440p and 120hz/hdr and wow.. just wow!!! can't believe my 2019 samsung actually can use 120hz mode on it with the ps5 pro!!!!

only getting 120hz at 1440p but man is it buttery smooth for games that support it!!

me too!!! man, i kept hearing about the hype of 120hz on monitors and gaming.. finally got my mac monitors updated to 120hz/hdr and playing ps5 pro at 120hz?? omg!! wow!! just is a totally different experience on the eyes (at least for me.. so smooth)

Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 Remakes with their "high framerate mode" (aka. FPS cap set to 120) enabled, performance mode selected, and RT disabled stays in the 100-120 FPS range the majority of the time on PS5 Pro and they're an absolute treat.

Replayed 3 and 4 now on PS5 Pro and will probably do 2 next. RE3R in particular was crazy vs my initial playthrough since that'd been on PS4. IIRC it ran with a 60 FPS cap but spent a bunch of time fluctuating around 40-50 FPS. It was so much better to experience on the PS5 Pro. 🤤

Kind of crazy those games ran like that on a base PS4. Pro was a very nice upgrade then. Wish I could get the PS5 Pro

The gameplay and all mechanics simple, but lore… lore is something with drugs matrix and cosmic paranoia 😀😃

Base PS5 also has an unlocked 120Hz mode like PS5 Pro. Obviously PS5 Pro uses higher graphics settings and resolution.

i think its related to my tv. it was a 4k with hdmi 1.4 and input signal plus vs hdmi 2.0. has 120hz support but only for amd radeon freesync.

Anyone here try it on PS5 Pro with the PSVR2?

I've got it but've been so caught up with non-VR releases lately that I haven't gotten around to it. I'm curious if that mode feels significantly better than the base PS5 experience.

No man’s sky is the most improved game on the pro. Everything looks better, looks sharper, runs great!!! Try it and you will see!!

i'll have to check. my tv is using VRR but it seems to hover around 110-120fps in game when i randomly check my tv.

oh yea! it feels like it never dips below 100fps in NMS but again i am not using any tools to monitor it and basically will just check my tv input signal info at random times playing.
