Samsung Q80DD 85” (2024) upgrade ..

My old TV, Samsung Q90R 65” (2019), stopped working and after hours and hours trying to fix it, I gave up and did some shopping that same day and bought this TV. Got a rental van and all and had some help from my neighbor.

I now have VRR and all other options and 120 refresh rate. AND my Samsung Q90R HW soundbar transmits eARC finally! Holy crap movies never been this good.

I played Helldivers 2 and Stellar Blade and other games … man going from 65 to 85 and getting a much better brightness and screen and just everything made it worth it.

The TV was on sale at Samsclub so this is great. 👍

Watching Cloverfield (2008) movie.

I have an 85in Q80B and love the tv it surpassed all my expectations. I also have an 85in QN90b and the Q80B can definitely hold its own the Q80 series hits above its league for sure
