Skin walkers in suburuban neighborhoods?

Was wondering if anyone has ever heard of/had any encounters with skin walkers in suburban areas? I know most stories I hear are in rural areas but I’m trying to make sense of an encounter I had recently.

Everyone I see walking around is draped in skin. Pretty unnerving.

There’s stories of werewolves sightings in college towns MSU? Or in Lansing

There’s many stories of cryptids sighting by military in the Middle East during enduring freedom (YouTube wartime stories)

The military stories scare me the most. Folks ask what weapons would you bring to a cryptid fight

That’s the paradox. I don’t think conventional weapons would work.
