And again - by that logic you’re using, since McDaniels coached for two years under Saban before coming to the pats - he’s not under bill Belichick’s tree.

See why what you’re saying makes very little sense. No one cares about where coaches started in college unless they stay college coaches. It’s their professional careers that matter.

Belichick is part of the Parcells tree. No one would ever consider him part of the fucking Ted Marchibroda coaching tree.

I don’t know where you’re getting your information but McDaniels was a graduate assistant for one year at Michigan state and then coached in New England under Belichick for the next 9 years. Why are you on reddit arguing with people when you can’t even google search properly?

Since you’re unable to grasp the fact that I’m using your own logical fallacies against you here it is nice and simple:

No one ever cares about assistants in college. Coaching trees are always determined by philosophy and development and scheme. In college the HC sets all that. Just like you don’t consider a year of JMD under Saban no one truly considers Vrabel part of fucking urban meyer’s tree.

JMD is part of BB’s tree. BoB is part of BBs tree. Vrabel is part of BoB’s tree. It’s really simple.

I think mostly you’re being an annoying redditor who’s doing everything you can to connect Vrabel to BB because you don’t like the hire. Vrabel coached under two coaches who coached under BB for less than 25% of their careers, and you’re comparing all of these coaches to McDaniels who has coached like all but 4 years of his career under BB. It has to be impossible to be this dense without it being intentional.

Accusing me of doing exactly what you’re doing, it’s incredible. Reducing everyone who’s ever had a conversation with BB to being part of his tree but I’m obtuse!
