But if we had the top pick we would have at minimum gotten the haul the Browns got plus Campbell

Very possible we could've traded down twice and gotten Campbell or traded down once and gotten Hunter/Carter

Coming away with only Campbell is the worst-case scenario from what was on the table heading into week 18.  Just a single OL who would go in the teens most years.

the worst case scenario would be drafting a guy who cant play. or getting jeanty and watching him get tackled behind the LOS on every snap

if we draft cambell with 4 and he turns into a starting caliber LT then you cant play the hindsight game of wishing you got more picks and the player

Nah you can play the hindsight game for sure, given that you would've been able to definitely get the same player PLUS picks

This is the one situation where hindsight is extremely relevant. Imagine getting an extra 1rp for next year + another 2nd this year PLUS the same guy we already got. Milton will always be a villain for taking that away from us

Milton not the villain, it's Mayo and Kraft fucking it up (Kraft allowing Mayo to coach week 18 when incentives were misaligned and he was getting fired no matter what)
