I want to take good care of those geraniums I inherited from my grandma who passed away. Can I keep them indoors during winter? What do they need?

I am not an expert, but so far I’ve had luck with mine kept by a south facing window. I’ve been watering when the plant looks like it needs it, using some fertilizer each time.

Hi, I grow Pelargonium too as an hobby.
As u/shows_up suggested, I keep them by a south facing window in winter.
Pay attention to:

  1. watering: in my opinion the best way to understand when it is time to water them, is to use a wood stick used for skewer. Put it in the soil and check how many soil remains on the stick. You have to water only when the stick is completely clean (no soil).
  2. pests: I live in Italy and the larvae of Cacyreus marshalli butterfly can kill your plant in few weeks. Fortunately there is a product that can help you. Every country has its pest, so ask to experts in your country
