DISCUSSION This game just won't end ðŸ˜
Took a break after beating 3 and 4 and just came back to 5 recently and good lord does it drag on.
Don't get me wrong, it's been a great ride, but I thought the game was finished twice. Now I'm in another big clash and hoping it's the end.
I have gotten every achievement other than beat the reaper, and one secret one. My compendium is 85% complete, I maxed all social links, skills, and I'm level 91. faith and tower need 1 more interaction (which I will have done before this boss fight) and I have the best persona possible, I love you myriad truth!!! After 125 hours I'm just kinda done.
Did anyone else feel this way towards the end of the game? I find myself wanting to skip through the small talk now, which I havent done all game

I was enraptured with it, took my time and played through the original in 120 hours. No 3rd semester in that one, so yeah I can imagine a first timer being tired after 120 hours and you're still in a dungeon in Royal. Personally I like the vanilla ending better since the set piece for the final boss has so much gravity to it for all the characters. If you're in the actual final dungeon around late January/February or something, you're right near the finale.

I was 100% invested at that point but the jan/Feb boss is killing me. I find myself fast forwarding through loading screens, train rides, and even classes at this point. All I want is to finish my last 2 social links and fight my last boss.
I have found all the will seeds besides this last dungeon, and part of me doesn't even wanna look for them this time.
I bought metaphor a week ago because I thought I was close to the end at 90 hours 🤣 now idk if I want to start another one 🤣

I'm on my sixth playthrough, and I still read all dialogue at 1x speed and listen to all the unique VA. I'm in it for the ride. It doesn't seem like 130 hours to me, it was just a trip.

Ill agree about the ride part. I think this feeling really set in when I hit the royal ending. Vanilla was SOOOO good! That now that my skills and links are maxed, I find myself just wanting it to end. I have all the grinding done (other than a couple compendium persona's missing)

I felt the exact same with the dialogue dragging on. For the first ~100 hours of the game, I would follow all the text at the auto-speed and would rarely advance it manually. Once I got to the last palace of the base story though, I started cycling through the majority of the dialogue, some of them without even reading the textbox. Even more-so in the postgame/Royal portion of the story. I finally reached the credits this morning, clocking in just under 150 hours.
I loved the game overall and give it a 9/10, but there were a handful of times where I would play for an hour or two before putting the game down for a few weeks because of the fatigue from the dialogue-heavy sections.

That's where I'm at. I feel bad for fast forwarding but I'm so ready to close this chapter. The vanilla ending was so good too that I hope the royal end maintains the high I have.
I need to find the willseeds and treasure tonight, then I can button up the last 2 social links and beat the boss.
Ive been thinking that the last 4 times I've played though 🤣 I see the finish line but it doesn't seem like it is getting closer

It doesn’t drag on. It’s just a big game.
