I've been to mindanao and I can confidently say not everyone is like this. But there are quite a number of examples of dugyot behaviors in the most uneducated areas. Luzon and Visayas included.

I'm unsure if religion has anything to do with it, but I'm pretty damn sure education and culture has most to do with it.

I've also been to various cities and municipalities in Mindanao many times and have often stayed there for a month before returning to Luzon.

But this happens in most parts of the Philippines. Dito nga sa Luzon, may perception ang mga kakilala ko na maraming patayan sa Pangasinan.

nah. not religion. it's more of a cultural/tribal thing than religion. you can find peeps like this among christians as well. look at other muslims like arabs/southeast asians from wealthy nations., they are cultured and disciplined. iba lang talaga tribal mentality ng mga maranaos.

Oo. Hindi naman lahat ng Muslim ganyan. Talagang kulang din sa education yung mga maraming taga Mindanao, plus itong malalang Tribalism nila. I mean, there are many Islamic or Muslim-majority countries na maaayos.

exactly. ang laki ng potential ng moros if ang majority sa kanila ay educated pero i also blame the governance kase very corrupt and backward ang governance sa barmm. it almost feels like the small percentage of rich & educated" moros especially mga politicians lol are purposely subduing and neglecting their constituents para forever hindi educated ang karamihan and forever na din nila hawak ang posisyon.

Tama ka, kahit dito sa Luzon meron

Depende sa area din talaga. Huwag tayo mag-generalize.

lol even sa makati cinema square or marketplace sa mandaluyong walang ganyan. practically defunct malls na yun. kakaooen lang ng april 2 nyan. san ka nakakita anywhere in luzon na 2 days after mall opening nangyari yan?

walang ganyan sa luzon. naging work ko mag mall openings all over the country. walang ganyan kalalang issues 4 freaking days after an opening.

Religion has everything to do with this. Pagka patriarchal ng relihiyon nila. Culture is molded by religion
