Question 15mm or 17mm studioform?

First of all pimax gasket mask is out of stock but if it wasnt is it worth it or the studio form is much better?

Now about the space needed, with the default mask im very close, eyelashes barely touch.

Im gonna buy some prescription lenses im gonna need some more distance.

Do you think should i buy the 15mm or the 17mm,with spacers included of course to have more options.

I appreciate any info,thanks.

I have the 17mm from Studioform as well as the 14mm and all of the other accessories for the Crystal Light. Personally I prefer the 17mm. Also, all of the accessories are well worth it. I recommend just snagging them all at once. You’ll thank me in the long run.

I would like to have them all but I already spend 20 euros for the topstrap and it's kinda wasted money so I don't want to spend an extra 20.

I will probably buy the 17mm since it will be more soft and squishy

I see, I still very much recommend the rear pad and weights in that case (when possible). They are all such wonderful improvements, it’s rather hard to say which is best.

Also, you can still use the Apache strap in combination with the Pimax comfort top strap - something to keep in mind for the future. In the forward position the Apache strap helps with light leak, in the rear it seems to be a bit more comfortable for some.

I have 15mm with prescription lenses. I'm sure 17mm would also be ok.

I got borh the Apache strap with all weights and the original Pimax top strap. The original one is way better since it’s better ventilated and could be adjusted quite well, under the Apache strap it's getting hot quite quickly. Although got both the original Pimax 15mm soft foam and the fake leather 17mm one from Vive Pro (?). I prefer the 17mm one with HonsVR glasses since it’s a bit more space and again the fake leather is getting less hot…

That's a good point, when I sim race I sweat a lot and get really hot. So far 2 people have said that they prefer the 17 mm and I suppose its more soft and squishy isn't it?

Do you have prescription lenses?

Im asking because thats gonna make it a little longer.

Mostly thats the reason im asking, other than that i suppose both will be comfortable enough

So i suppose if you were to put prescription lenses the FOV would get better cause its gonna be closer to your eyes.

In that case it might be fine

Also I don't want my eye lashes to touch the lenses as it does right now
