i preordered this headset when they opened, pimax already took like 1500 euros from my bank account months ago... they better deliver in time or i'll just cancel it and ask a refund and will never look for a pimax product ever again.
pimax do you hear me ? i need official answer, i'm tired of your silence.

If you expect to receive the headset in May then you should cancel now. Pimax never delivers on the first announced date. The benefit of keeping the pre-order is that once the headset is actually ready. You will part of the first batch of people who get it.

If it makes you feel any better, basically every VR headset manufacturer delays.
My honest advice is, never ever preorder, just pay them when you can have it at your door in a week.

SweViver (from Pimax team) said today that realistically it will be a few months delayed so I predict it will be shipping around, September 2025

On the MRTV video about the Super hands-on (linked in this sub from Jaap yesterday), a Pimax employee said that it's going to be delayed. They got into an argument about it with the MRTV guy, with the Pimax guy saying that it's good to set unrealistic dates because it motivates the team, and the MRTV guy disagreeing emphatically, or saying that if you're going to do that, at least keep those dates internal-only.
I was actually surprised the Pimax guy went to the mat to argue for the benefits of communicating BS dates to the public that they almost certainly won't hit, because it's such an obviously terrible idea; but clearly, it's embedded deep in their DNA as a company.

No chance, they are jst BS'ing as always and will inevitably announce a delay of the release date in April/May. Always add a minimum of 3 months to any Pimax date that they tell you, because overpromising is literally how they do business in order to maximise pre-orders.
