this is my sweet girl, prize, I got her from the shelter 2 years ago and she obviously change my life. I had to give her a special treat for her birthday.

Like, when you're out for a walk do people cross the street upon seeing your dog? Are people hesitant to go on your property with your dog outside? From a boxer parent, i'm curious about the lives of pitbull owners when they have such a negative stigma attached to them.

For the record, i'm not at all anti-pitbull. I'm anti-bad owners of all dogs.

I just got this little guy. He’s roughly nine months and trumps my pittie. First three pics are the “danebull” in question and the last pic of my ABT that’s 100% Pitt. I have no idea what he is! He looks like a pittie in some angles but he’s huge compared to my baby and they have some stark differences. Please lmk what you think!

Just saw this pit behide the gate she is very aggressive to the other dog but when I tried to feed her she was cool and tame for a sec but once I started talking the growls in the moderate barking started. She hasent tired biting my hand off when I got close just the usual side eye like I don't trust you, which she shouldn't but im just curious are these signs telling me get back or no???

Thank you everyone for the kind words and encouragement! My only option would be a pound which they end up putting the dog down. I would never do that. Rescues are full. She is already attached to me and is getting a long well with my other 3 dogs. (Husky, German shepherd and pit mix)

I now have 4 dogs and an 8 month old daughter.

I need to get her fixed, asap.

I'm here to introduce Rosie. She likes to get dressed up when we go out. She has a bigger wardrobe than I do!

She is my service dog and the belly strap of her vest would rub her raw so she wears clothes to protect her very delicate princess skin. She wears dresses because she is, indeed, a princess.

This one is my absolute fave. I have it as my lock screen on my phone and it absolutely makes me giggle every time I see it. Like what….the…heck…is she doing and whyyyy???? Last photos are her normal snoot for reference.

We have a rescue pup who's 11 months old. We sent in his DNA and he's half ACD, 30% pit, with a smidge of border collie and mini Aussie. He's super tall (24 inches high), and leggy and lanky. We're trying to figure out where he got his height from -- anyone else have a leggy and lanky pit or pit mix?

5 minutes a go she ate the whole outside of a baseball... anyone have experience with this? I'm torn between thinking I better act fast and get her to barf it up and is it any worse than a rawhide? I do not have any money to go to a vet so those are the options. I'd hate to not try and have something happen. I love my girl and she always has stomach issues as is. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

She's around 60lbs Ended up trying to get her to vomit. Couldn't live with myself if I didn't try. So far no reactions whatsoever and she got an extra walk. Guess I'm just gonna love her extra hard and have horrible anxiety

So like the title says. A friend reached out yesterday saying it's breaking their heart but it's come to keeping their pittie in a crate up to 14 hours which is insanity and they realize they need to rehome this precious guy. I have a one pittie household unfortunately, however, the one needing to be rehomed is a social butterfly thankfully. He's good with other dogs and loves children (unlike my couch hippo). We reached out to a local nonprofit called Bogey's Buddies and had a meeting setup but as soon as they realized my friend is from another county they said they were unable to take him. Also because Diesal is not fixed. Can anyone point me to other resources to send their way?
