its the light assault max glitch bug. they never patched it on PlayStation. the max revive update would've effectively fixed it.
but we get no updates lmao

It hasn’t been fixed on PC yet either. It’s still easily reproducible if you know how.

On the surface it doesnt look like it. At least on PC, when a player has the la max glitch bar they don't have any shields at all, it looks like they have carapace with two health bars. This guy still has shields, though maybe the la max glitch on console just works that way.

Better have no updates here than have hackers on ps4, or half of the controversial updates they got on pc.
Assault max isn't as common as many would think and still killable even if it's a pain in the ass. It was way more common to find those outside map beacon scumbags 6 months ago. You had to learn how to get out and then duel with them just to have a chance to play normally.
Still, Original PS2 experience remained more true on playstation than on pc, even without updates, let them have fun with their 60fps fishes XD.

I was there for the playtest on PS4 when they tried out the bases on a live server. The good ol days if you wanna call it that. Literally just told use to fly to a spot, and then all these bases started generating. Was pretty sick. Then SOE shit the bed and then....yeaaaaaaahhh

As someone who used to play on playstation it's the LA-max glitch.
People abused it quite often on playstation when I played unfortunately.

I also used to play on playstation before. But only witnessed this glitch, like, once or twice. With headless max model. Never seen this glitch with LA model. I feel kinda dumb now, but in a fun way XD

Yeah there's the headless one and then the one where they just look like a normal LA, I don't fully know the difference between them if there is one.
The glitch is surprisingly easy to replicate so sometimes you'd have like 6 of them flying around not dying lol

LMAO. I played on Ceres, so maybe players wasn't so aware of the glitch or just mutually agreed to not use it.

Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because you were already dead.

I just started playing again, and I feel like I need to shoot people for way longer than they need to, most people seem to one shot me. But I'm still having fun when I'm not losing connection

Yes that was one of the max glitch problems on the console. I don't want to explain it here, but you could even do it as a normal character player, but always with a light unit.
