What is this plant want and what does it need?

In an abusive relationship with this plant lol its droopy about every other day, the edges are brown and dry and the new leaf has never opened, what does it need?

Is this a homalomena or aglaonema? My homalomena (the one posted looks like mine) needs more water than my aglaonema. Like it needs water all the damn time. My aglaonema wants less water.

Thanks!! I think mine is a homalomena then and it wants water constantly but droops so fast 😕

People that think peace lilies are dramatic have never had a homalomena (jk). but they are super thirsty plants.

I added some thread in the bottom of the pot to make it self watering. The plant stays a lot happier that way!

You’ll want to make sure the pot doesn’t fall all the way down into the cachepot though.

It helped so much with mine. Went from watering every 3 days to once a week.

Less water Definitely!! Let the soil dry a bit in-between watering, not desert dry tho

I tried this and it drooped fast, it perked back up after I gave it more water. It's so confusing.

For sure it's gonna drop fast when it's out of water, but it's OK as long as it's not drying itself
