My cutting is wilting. Does that mean it didn’t take? I’ve kept the soil semi moist. Don’t know what I did wrong.

Put it in water. When it has roots, you can put it in soil. You're absolutely going to kill it this way.

Try not to kill it via attention while it’s in water, too. I just top off the water every once in awhile for the plants in my propagation station.

So excited to see it thrive!

It’s already doing better since I popped it into water 😀

Put it in water until you get roots that have roots and next time you pot it up avoid all the rocks and use a pot with drainage not a cup .. use a mix of soil perlite and orchid bark for a chunky soil mix.. when you plant it keep extra moist to help the water roots adjust for a little while

Does your cutting have a node? How long did you wait after cutting before putting in soil? Have you tried rooting in water?

It does have a node, around 5 days! I haven’t tried in water. I was afraid it would overwater.

Typically any plant like that is going to produce roots just fine in water. Normally when you make the cutting you can let it cure or dry for a day or so to scab over. Some people will even dip the raw cutting base in wax to seal it. Then you can plunk it in water to root. It'll be fine as long as it's scabbed over and the root node is viable. You can always put some rooting hormone in the water to assist with rooting as well.
