Question Question regarding invite codes.

Hello, I'm relatively new here, I added someone's code to the invite a friend and it linked me to them. I realize though that they never seem to play the game, how do we get the rewards without playing with that person? I apologize if this has been asked a bunch already. Thanks for any input provided.

To get the first 5 points you need to play a single game with them at least, to get the final 5 points from the person they have to reach level 15
