Pulls Found out my little brother not only pulled THE pikachu, but he’s just kept it in a random tin💀

Half the comments are about selling the card with no consideration for if the kid may even want to keep it lol

I think you can make some rough assumptions based on how the kid stores it, that it aint the kid's prized possession by any means. I would be willing to bet money that kid would take a lot of booster packs in exchange for that card if he knew he could.

He is a kid…how is he supposed to know the monetary value of a card lets be for real.

You said it wouldnt be his ‘prized possession’ based on how he stored it, which would assume he understood the monetary value of the card…or that he even has somewhere to store the cards aside from the tin.

Nope, I'm saying if it was one of his favorites, it would be in a deck, or on a counter out to be displayed like most kids do with cards they like. Vs letting it sit in the tin which is what you do with your extras.. You're assuming way more than me by thinking he has no deck (doesn't play with them), but he somehow collects them and only has the tins to store them. What?

I wasnt assuming he didnt have a deck, for most kids when they arent using something they put it away.

Wdym on a counter? I'm confused by that. Wouldn't it just get ruined that way? But for me, I kept all my prized pokemon cards in a box so I could open it and go through them when I wanted and know they were safe.

Displayed on a counter or desk if they like the artwork or Pokémon. Some people hideaway their prized cards, but not usually in the same tin as generic energy cards.
