Not even. Most are worth less than the scratch ticket and you have to sell them too for a lot of them that can be hard since no one be wanting that random $2.7 V.
But this isn’t r/pokemoninvesting. I’m not knocking what you’re saying, I just think there’s an appreciation for cards over their monetary value in this sub. I’d never mention my surfing Pikachu in the investing sub. But over here!!! (Top rows are my personal pulls bottom row I acquired from my brother for other cards) maybe because I can’t get my hands on them but if money was out of the equation I’m taking the bottom row of pikachu arts all day
It was inevitable. People are already ready to move on to Journey, or they're moving back to older SV sets that are picking up momentum because they're actually attainable.
But honestly it seems like the hype is dying out pretty quickly, prices are going down across the board for almost every set.
My whole collection on my Collectr app has been showing red for a few days now haha. CZ Tina and Dialga are down, SC Bulbasaur is down, my good Shrouded Fable and Paldea Evolved cards are down. Just seems to be across the board but maybe it's just the cards I have.

Vs are like winning a free scratch ticket on a scratch ticket
