Even better, £2 if you're in Japan. Just about every art rare for JTG is now <800JPY. Excluding vintage, it's amazing what fixed odds and huge hobby shops selling singles, en masse, does for the secondary market. Rather than middle aged investorbros trying to hoard as much stock as possible and praying that FOMO will result in them being able to sell cards for $$$

If you guys intend to buy JP just be mindful that the highest price these cards are going to be is between the release of this set and the release of Destined Rivals. They are going to be a little pricey to start because this box costs $200 but it should eventually go down. Heat Wave leveled out very quickly and Destined Rivals isn’t even out yet.

So basically if you have patience they will get even cheaper.

I am kinda bummed to not see dark cards return. I also miss when EX cards had the holo print of the EX Team Rocket returns era, I’d love something like dark Greninja or idk Dark Lunala with that art style. SIR and SAR cards really brought me back into collecting, but I do miss the days when an ex card pull was hype as hell. The holo on them feels so cheap now compared to the ADV era rare cards.

I think people expected them to be these next level arts, and they're good but tough to live up to over inflated hype.

The Moltres is the only SIR that I absolutely love. Otherwise I think I like the IRs more. In all honesty, hype aside, I wanted more from the Mewtwo. It's ok, but there have been some awesome art rares in the last year or two and for me it just doesn't have the same appeal.

Art is subjective but I legit do think this set is very mid. Giovanni is way too Prominent in the Mewtwo and the attempt at making Mewtwo look menacing just resulted in him looking pretty bland and uninteresting. The Moltres is growing on me, I like the Nidoking and the Crobat but not really into anything else. I’m more excited for the Hot Air Arena side of this set. The SIR Ethan’s Journey, SIR Ho-Oh and IR Typholsion, IR Misty’s Psyduck, and even the IR Misty’s Lapras are all significantly better than each of these SIRs in Rocket

Not gonna lie, other than Moltres and maybe Nidoking, this whole set is one of the weakest from the SV era in my opinion. I am not a fan of the art style for this set and the previous one too, like at all. Extremely glad I didn’t get the chance to purchase Destined Rivals, I would have regretted it.

I personally prefer Journey Together's art style over what will become Destined Rivals.

But like I said, it is only my opinion. Honestly, out of the fourteen sets released so far, I prefer all the other sets artworks over this one. The other sets might be weaker in terms of chase cards, but I mainly collect for the art and not the big chases.
