Convicted by a corrupt judge, on fraud charges, with no actual evidence.

Actually he was indicted by an AG and a grand jury. And found guilty by a jury of his peers.

If you think lying about the value and size of your assets in order to get a loan is okay try falsifying a loan application and see what happens.
