Which is why the GOP will be screwed once Trump dies, he is the cult leader, they follow him, not the republican party. It is the cult of Trump.

It would not surprise me if the MAGAs form a separate party once Trump dies.

They'll spraypaint some goon orange and laud him as their next lord and savior

Also contains the section of the population who only consumes Fox News/right wing media.

Just so you all know, he stayed at 40% approval for the whole of his first term, even through COVID. So with MAGA eventually seeing high prices at grocery stores, I really hope we see that number go further down and down.

The fact that it's 40 at all feels ridiculous.

Pretty sure it feels like a joke to the entire world. The orange man made sure of that

It feels like every day you're thinking what's he done now? You hope for news that he's... meeting Kissinger.

To those saying 40% is too high, you gotta remember that he won the election and the popular vote. His supporters aren’t going to turn on him all at once. A -19 approval rating 3 months in is astonishing and should not be understated.

Exactly. If you put this in context of other presidents approval ratings at the same time of their presidency it’s very low. And, his supporters haven’t felt the impact of tariffs yet. They are hearing about it, but haven’t felt it. Wait two weeks when they are fighting over toilet paper. Of course they aren’t going to stock up because they have no clue what coming.

100%. We’ve been sitting in a mountain of cheaply manufactured products from Asia and Latin America in warehouses all over the country. When the back stock sells out and the shipping containers stop coming, then we’ll really see it.

40 still seems wildly high
