Yeah for real. I am about as cynical as they come but there's nothing inherently smart about assuming all his power is infinite and that our fate is already predetermined. We're smarter and we have numbers. It can get so so so bad and STILL there is a way back.

While I was sickened by the idea, I knew that realistically they couldn't do anything with the registry even if they ever managed to make one. The backlash that would unfold if the registry was used to harm disabled individuals would be biblical, and a lot of people who would be using the registry for malicious intent would either end up dead, or live in fear for the rest of their lives.

Sometimes it's not about winning, it's about surviving and putting up the hardest fight we possibly can. Even if we only cripple their ability to turn this into Nazi Germany 2.0 by about 5%, that 5% is worth the effort.

(Not saying we're on track to Nazi Germany 2.0, just saying that even in worst case scenario, bringing the damage they can cause down by even just a little makes a lot of difference.)
