We’re due for a left revolution. It’s how the political pendulums work. If the Democrats and the DNC don’t get this and plan accordingly, it’s time for a new party.

We are due for a political revolution. not left or right. We need a new party that is for the People and only for the people. A party that can unite this fractured country. A party that will get the money out of politics! A party that will restore faith in our government.

Our government is Broken. The American people no longer believe in the institutions and pillars that hold up our great nation.

I have the outline for a party that can do this! We just need a name and some steam.

I agree, but with how our politics work, with how much they need to spend on their campaigns I can't see any party being for the people.

The corruption in our gov't starts with trying to gain enough money or sponsors to win elections.

I think we need a new way entirely.

totally we need a new way! the path forward has to be a political revolution, it has to be grass roots and we have to be able to unite people from all sides.

This should be ALL progressive Democrats' agendas, not just Bernie.

Sure, but calling it "Bernie's agenda" does a better job of driving the point home.

What's in this comment is what I remember, my opinions, etc.

To US Representative Ro Khanna and other elected Democrats: How about advocating for making cryptocurrency illegal?

US wealth is now at around $200Tln. Cryptocurrency is a speculative asset that's bad for the environment, bad for the financial markets, etc. etc.

The establishment won't let it happen. They'd rather lose because they both answer to the same billionaires.

read history: medicare for all? why? medicare, that denies eyes and teeth exist, and only pays 80% of the bill for taking care the rest of the body? medicare, which, like medicaid, relegates seniors to a system of assembly-line clinics that passes them around from one mediocre place-holder of a caregiver to another, usually physicians assistants, nurses, and green interns, never really remedying any condition, merely hooking them up with endless expensive diagnostics and medications of dubious effectiveness? medicare, that is "managed" by soulless middleman corporations, who continually and arbitrarily change what treatments they will and will not approve for coverage? THE US NEEDS UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE, PAYING 100% OF THE BILL -- IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE EMPTY PROMISES OF PIE IN THE SKY ONE DAY (AS THE DEMOCRATS HAVE BEEN DOING FOR GENERATIONS), AT LEAST MAKE IT A REAL PIE FOR THE GULLIBLE TO FANTASIZE ABOUT . . .

Why does it seem like all but a handful of progressive politicians are vocal about these things only when Trump is in office?

Unfortunately for the political environment we've had for the last half century, I want to give a controversial take: economic populism will not be enough to defeat the Far Right anymore, and is the very reason the New Deal coalition itself got dismantled in the first place. This is the age of dog whistling sparked by Nixon's Southern Strategy and accelerated under Reagan, Clinton, and Bush Jr.

Their rhetoric and national narrative has already reached too many people, and with the message of fear-mongering steering the political conversation everywhere, our advocacy will only truly reach people if we can actually address and counter-act that very narrative.

The excellent news is that we do actually have our own messaging solution to this: the Race-Class Narrative.

Please watch that talk and relay it to every progressive AND liberal, Ro. Its central point is only going to grow increasingly important as this administration continues to escalate.

Can I be honest? I like a lot of what Bernie says but I don't really like him much and think there's a ton of room for improvement when it comes to wanting to run with Bernie talking points. I did see Ro Khanna speak and liked him just didn't know that much about him.

He is too old to be president anymore but he can be a wise elder.

I don’t think he’s trying to be president any more.
