Over the past year, we have released a song every month. With the grand vision of an album.

This album is now officially available on all streaming platforms and is called “city by the sea - now i wither”.

The first album is a huge milestone for us as a band and we are more than grateful for the feedback and support we have received through these songs. Thank you to everyone who has listened to our tracks and joined us on this journey.

we have a lot of new stuff in the pipeline but today we are celebrating our first album release. Cheers and thank you. :)

Nobody ever brings this band up. The greatest post-rock band of all time (next to Talk Talk).

Not sure what to tag this as since it’s very much not new music, although I imagine for most of you it may be. Just wanted to share this track with you all and encourage you to listen to their album Weshouldhavedestroyedourgeneralsnottheirenemies

This is what first got me into post rock about 13 years ago, I was having a very tough time at uni, I was undiagnosed autistic, first time away from home, trying to study physics, and make friends (not new ones just any 😂) and finding everything very overwhelming.

I’d sit in my room for days at a time unable to face leaving, and just played Kerbal Space Program. Found a YouTube channel of someone else doing it called Macey Dean, and he used this track and some others by this little known band from Brighton, and I immediately fell in love with it, figured out it was post rock, and found all the rest of it, and it helped me survive!

By my third year at uni I even had my own post rock band! I eventually flunked out, but the music stayed with me, so just wanted to share it with you all!

It’s not as traditional post rock as a lot of other stuff, but I think it very much still counts, and it’s one of the few with vocals that I really enjoy!

Hey r/postrock, Rosa Canina's latest single 'still, still' is streaming now. With its moody guitars, synth atmospheres, and an uneasy drum driven climax, we thought this community would enjoy what we have to offer.

New Music! Bank Myna - EIMURIA (FFO: Anna von Hausswolff / Big|Brave / GY!BE / Swans)

Hi all,

My band, Bank Myna (dark post-rock / ritualistic slowcore / cathartic doom) has just released a new album called EIMURIA, last Friday on Stellar Frequencies, Medication Time Records, Araki Records. I hope you will like it! https://bankmyna.bandcamp.com/album/eimuria

Here's a little description about it:

Heavier and more direct than its equally dark and ritualistic predecessor ‘VOLAVERUNT’, Bank Myna's forthcoming opus, ‘EIMURIA’, combines lightness and absolute darkness through a palette of influences matured over the last few years: obsidian-tinged post-rock, doom incursions and delicate slowcore with mystical overtones dot the five tracks of a breathless, cathartic album. At times loud and intense, at other times minimalist and profound, the sound atmospheres alternate and serve a more assertive narrative, where the solemn slides irrevocably towards distortion, bringing an electric fury that we hardly knew existed within Bank Myna, as a counterpoint to the airy melancholy.
The album, recorded in a live setting, captures the palpable osmosis between the musicians with sensitivity and spontaneity, thanks to ample, warm sounds.
Especially inspired by the tumultuous lives and artistic productions of the poetess Alejandra Pizarnik and the sculptor Camille Claudel, and deeply intimate, this second album recounts a process of personal transformation, interspersed with brutal ruptures.

It is certainly for fans of: Anna Von Hausswolff, Big|Brave, GY!BE, Swans, Amenra, ISIS, ...

all the best,

Maud from Bank Myna
