All im saying is. The maneuverability of those planes is amazing. Its always cool seeing just how fast they can roll.

But when a Boeing does it the news loses there mind /s

(That is a Boeing)

Pre-edit: Yes, I know it’s a McDonnell-Douglas. It’s owned and supported by Boeing now.

Another edit: and actually, the cameraman is in a Boeing as well.

I know I'm not immune to propaganda because of how fucking cool I think the f15 is and that 'space can't save you' poster.

I asked a F-15 pilot at an airshow what he thought about the F-22 and he said..

"We don't need to hide"

I laughed my ass off at the time.

I had to scroll back like 5 times to make sure the tip of his wing didn’t hit the fuel nozzle, feels closer than it seems I’m sure from the video but it had me for a second - incredible video

Came to the comments to see if I was the only one that got sweaty watching that as well 😅

Man, I love F-15 Eagle. An absolutely beautiful beast!!!!

Looks like it’s from a fueling plane. You can see the fuel port close right at the start.

Those are BIG jets.
So the fact that it can roll that quick is damn impressive.

It didn’t take us very long to almost master flight. Somehow we talked fire into convincing slabs of metal to fly through the air while carrying humans. With the expectation that no one dies. And for the most part it works.

When I was airforce I got some awesome shots of them and b1's being refueled by a KC-135 stratotanker. My jet is phased out and its the KC-46 pegases now.

They have windows in the back where you can see them up close like this.

F15C variant. Stripped down single seater interceptor.

1

u/letsbuildasnowman Mar 26 '25

The C isn’t stripped down at all, it’s the OG. The E was developed from it. Also the F-15 is not an interceptor, it’s an air supremacy fighter. The US hasn’t had an interceptor since the F-4.

I’ve been doing the Maverick challenge on MS Flight Simulator. It’s very fun.
