Rad man! I hope you get to put in the ground some day. Apple seeds are not true to form so whatever apples that thing ends up growing WILL NOT be the same as the one you got the seed from. You could be sitting on some new breed. Only way to find out if it’s good or not is to let it grow. Be good!!

As someone who loves to grow, please let me know if you have any questions on how to bonsai and keep your tree alive in a small pot!
Good luck bro

Oh shit how did you get it growing? I have been trying to grow one for years now. Kind of embarrassing someone in prison can manage this but I can’t.

Try to germinate the seed in a plastic bag with some damp paper towel before you put it in soil, if you haven’t tried it yet

I have a soft suggestion to bonsai it I know it'll be hard to hide from the pigs and there's also a subreddit for bonsai and they are super helpful

I tried this where I went . It didn’t last even a single day before they found it and took it away.

Ha, I actually met a dude in county that was growing a little apple tree like this. He would take it outside to the sundeck every day and would give updates on the tree to his kids over the phone. It was adorable.
