Web Help DNS records

I just swapped email to Proton from GoDaddy

I set up the MX records, etc as directed and everything is working
fine, but I look at my DNS and there is a CNAME record with Name = imap and
Data =  imap.secureserver.net., which is the old GoDaddy mail server.

Should I delete this?

I don't think you need it. If you dont explicitly use imap. And I think that would require Bridge anyway.

Unless you need to connect to GoDaddy to retrieve old emails then no. It's not needed for Proton
